You know something? This is one of the few times I been driven to a boiling rage by a news story.

The US government has basically just said "Eff you. We got ours and you can't have any" to a huge swathe of the world. Does anyone in this administration actually know HOW important a reliable source of power is? Have they tried to operate by candle light? Pumped water by hand? Had to synchronize an entire town to flush their toilets at the same time because there wasn't enough power to run the sewage pumps?

No - instead they are playing BS talking points with people who desperately need electricity.

The Chinese have plenty of money to finance all the coal plants any country wants to build.  This is another way in which China will increase its influence.
