Alec Baldwin’s snorific show “Up Late” debuted to mixed ratings earlier this month – while it increased viewership at MSNBC, it failed (as expected) to compete against the Fox News behemoth, and did poorly in a key viewership demo.
It appears that about 20% of the viewership for the first episode tuned in just out curiosity, and maybe to mock it on Twitter.
Total viewership fell 19% from 654k to 529k, and in the key news demographic, the snorefest collapsed 33%, from 172k to 115k.
Let’s hope this doesn’t occasion another Twitter meltdown for the aged, crackhead actor. With reviews like these, I see it coming pretty soon:

Alec Baldwin has a new set, the show is now 30% less boring...sike, I'm lying it's not any less boring.

As left leaning I am, the Alec Baldwin show on MSNBC is putting me to sleep worse than NPR.

Having Chris Matthews as a guest on Alec Baldwin's show is like getting both an endoscopy & colonoscopy at the same time
