Brooklyn Family Of Five Butchered For "Having Too Much"
Saturday night, a deranged psychopath left a family of five butchered in Brooklyn. Ming Dong Chen, 25, an illegal alien from China, took it upon himself to viciously murder Qiao Zhen Li, 37, and her children: William Zhuo, 1; Kevin Zhuo, 5; Amy Zhuo, 7; and Linda Zhuo, 9. And not just murder, but hack them with a meat clever and a knife. The one year old was found decapitated. Why? They had "too much" and the killer was jealous.

In his wake of madness, he leaves a grieving husband and father forced to deal with the death of his entire family. An illegal, he was staying with the family, and when police arrested him, he was eerily calm and blood soaked.
Ming Dong Chen, a 25-year-old suspect — preliminarily identified as the children’s mentally troubled older cousin — was arrested after being subdued at the scene, his feet bare and soaked in blood. Cops seized a machete and scissors from the home as evidence, a law enforcement source said.
What would possess a man to do something like this to a woman and her four children? This is a family of five butchered for no apparent reason by a mad man with a machete.
A police source told the New York Post the man confessed to committing the crime because he was jealous of the family’s lifestyle.
“The family had too much,” a police source told The Post. “Their income [and] lifestyle was better than his.”
The worst part is that Chen was noted for his strange behavior. And Li's husband, and the children's father, was at work at the time of the murders. He couldn't get there in time to save his family. He arrived back at the home right after the attack, to find the police there. And the mad man Chen had no reaction to any of the goings on around him.
“He [the suspect] was bizarrely calm,” said one neighbor, who asked that his name not be used.
“He was completely composed and answering their questions — even as they brought out two black bags with the kids in them,” the neighbor said.
Blood everywhere, mangled bodies, and coming out of the house he's as cool as a cucumber. He hacked to death babies and their mother. To comprehend the actions of this man is impossible. Mr. Chen arrived in the United States in 2004, according to reports. e had spent time in Chicago, but through an interpreter, he said in Mandarin that “since he’s been in this country everyone seems to be doing better than him.”
So this justifies the massacre? They had more than him, and opened their home to him, and he butchered them out of envy. Three victims were pronounced dead at the scene. Ms. Li and five year old Kevin were transported to the hospital before being pronounced dead.
Police said Ms. Li believed Mr. Chen had been acting suspiciously and tried calling her husband. When he didn’t pick up the phone, she called her mother-in-law in China. The mother-in-law then tried to reach her son, said Mr. Banks, before reaching out to her other daughter who lives nearby.
That woman, the children’s aunt, went with her husband to check on the family.
“They bang on the door and they bang on the door,” said Mr. Banks. “At some point [Mr. Chen] opens the door and they see that he is covered with blood.”
Brooklyn multiple stabbingIt was too late. And when the children's father returned home, he couldn't do anything to help the victims. And when the poor husband and father happened upon the scene as police were there, he had to be told through an interpreter what was going on.
May Chan, a neighbor, said the father was inconsolable when he came home, who was told what happened through a Chinese interpreter. "The father was freaking out," said Chan. "He just came home from work and saw the police and they told him. He was hysterical."
How could anyone process this? It's insanity, madness, and unexplainable. Five lives heinously snuffed out by a mad butcher, who thought his relatives "had too much." It's impossible to fathom.
There will be no more seeing the children play in the neighborhood.
"I always see (the kids) running around here," Chan said. "They run around by my garage playing. They run up and down screaming. They're little kids ... that's so heartbreaking. Innocent kids, my God."
Innocence stolen, lives taken, and for no reason whatsoever.
