Jim's Corner, 10/25/13 Part 2
« on: October 27, 2013, 06:08:29 pm »
I ended last week’s discussion with passage of the “Personal Responsibility and Work Reconciliation Act.” The discussion now continues with the transformation of the Democratic Party.

After the public caught on to their welfare scheme, Coward and Piven moved on to greener pastures and began applying pressure to other parts of our government. They believed that welfare and voting rights were only bones tossed out to keep the poor docile and they despised both systems. They believed that the electoral process was designed to serve the interest of the rich ruling class and to provide a safety value where the poor could vent their anger.

Cloward and Piven focused on transforming the Democrat Party, because the Democrats had always professed to represent the poor or lower classes. It is well known that many of the poor believe they can get what they want by voting Democrat. Thus Cloward and Piven turned their energy toward “voter activity.” Thus they began doing to our voting system what they had done to the welfare system in the 1960s and 70s.

They were responsible for flooding the polls with millions of new poor voters, which came from the angry ranks of the poor. These people were mad as hell and demanding more for doing less. ACORN spearheaded this movement, which was led by George Wiley. Remember him from last week’s discussion?

Other key groups were Project Vote and Human Serve. Project Vote was an ACORN front group founded by Zach Polett, and Human Serve was founded by Cloward and Piven.

Project Vote, Human Serve and ACORN went to work lobbying for the “Motor-Voter” law. This law passed in 1993 and was signed into law by President Bill Clinton. Richard Cloward and Francis Fox Piven were guests of the White House and attended the signing ceremony.

Under this law any person who shows up at a government office to acquire a drivers license, apply for unemployment benefits or welfare had to be advised they could also register to vote. Examiners were not allowed to ask anyone for identification or proof of citizenship. In addition, states had to permit voter mailing of voter registrations, which has allowed people to register without any personal contact with election officials. The several states were also limited in removing dead people and convicts from their rolls.

The Motor-Voter law caused voter rolls to be swamped with dead people and ineligible or non-existent persons. This opened to door to voter fraud which led to the Florida recount crisis in the 2000 Presidential election. For example: In the State of Indiana one in five registered voters were found to be duplicates, dead or otherwise invalid.

Both the voting rights and living wage movements depended on financial support from George Soros’s Open Society Institute and his Shadow Party. It is through such support that the Cloward-Piven strategy continues to be the blueprint of the Left’s campaign to overload and cause to fail many of America’s institutions. Leftists, such as, President Barack Obama euphemize these collapses as “fundamental transformation” believing that America can only be improved by destroying the Republic and its capitalistic system and replacing them with a Socialist Democracy.

Next week I will discuss the financial collapse of 2008 and why our welfare spending will exceed $1.34 trillion by the year 2019.

Quote for the Week: “Even hares pull a lion by the beard, when he is dead.”---Unknown.
