"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim tribute to patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness -- these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens. . . . reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principles."
George Washington

"Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become more corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters."
Benjamin Franklin

No, Obama is no Harry Truman. He's no FDR, either, and he's certainly no Ronald Reagan. Instead, he is more like LBJ - vicious and vulgar but LBJ was more responsible. Obama's retarded base never holds him accountable, he is too black to criticize.

Liberalism isn't really about making the world a better place. It's about reassuring the elites that they are good people for wanting to rule over it.

Reagan was dubbed the "Teflon President" and Nixon was attributed with the "Imperial Presidency" but Obama is really the one who escapes all criticism, gets virtually none from the media or from his own party.

Is that just race, or is it an increasingly biased media plus a party with better discipline than the GOP, or dems of olde?

Isn't it amazing every scandal, every problem, he always says the same thing:

I just heard about this

I'm really - REALLY mad about this

We WILL get to the bottom of this.

Same script... just like a good little wind up toy.

Don't forget the media went to great lengths to protect Bile Clinton, too. :nometalk:
