Dick Cheney: Obama Is 'Extremist,' Not Tea Party

Former Vice President Dick Cheney: “I don’t think of the Tea Party as extremist the way some of the folks in Washington describe it. The extremist in Washington is Barack Obama. He’s the guy who wants to fundamentally transform our health care system. He’s the guy who’s done enormous damage to America’s standing in the world.”

Right on Dick! Right on!
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

If a person in the GOP would think logically - rather than "consutantly" - they would look at the Democratic Party and how they utilize ACORN, SEIU, etc. - as grassroots - to go out and get voters to the polls for their side.

Then you look at the GOP and their consultant class tells them -- Tea Party bad - stay away from tea party - trash the tea party - and instead what does the GOP depend on - big money fundraisers and ads... lots and lots of ads.  Ads most people ignore...   They never spend money on a ground, GOTV, game.. and here they have (or had) a built in ground game with the tea party all they would have needed to do is unleash them and encourage and embrace them and their message.  Instead they stick their heads in the proverbial sand and forge ahead with the status quo... All the while these consultants who keep telling them this is the way to go?  They just keep lining their pockets and getting little in return for all that money.  The people who do win, thanks to the consultants strategy, are beholden to the deep pockets who funded them and their consultants.

Finally.  Some no nonsense talk from Mr. Outsider himself.  Take that GOPe!

Did you see McCain endorsed Sen Enzi in WY and not Cheney's daughter?
Did you see Liz Cheney attack McCain http://www.gopbriefingroom.com/index.php/topic,117325.0.html
She's using endorsements by McCain and Snowe to beat up Enzi.  Cheney and McCain must hate each other right?
Did you see who brought in 1 million last quarter.  That's 5 bucks for every Wyoming vote cast in the last midterm 2010.

Now remember Enzi voted against the shutdown deal.
