 Jay Carney’s Worst Press Briefing?
By  Alec Torres

After a speech in which President Obama failed to discuss how he was going to fix Obamacare, save for providing a 1-800 number to call, which was not working during and immediately after his speech, White House press secretary Jay Carney went on to have a pretty rough press briefing.

When ABC’s Jonathan Karl asked Carney, “If the website is not fixed, will people still need to pay the fine?” Carney refused to answer, saying that we were three weeks into a six-month long process and implying that we need not worry about this hypothetical. “You can’t really charge people a fine for not getting health insurance if you don’t fix this mess,” Karl said. Carney did not say if he agreed.

Karl then asked Carney about the main contractor that built the website, CGI, and why they were hired after being fired by a provinvial health agency of Ontario, Canada. Carney again refused to answer, referring him to Health and Human Services.

Later, a reporter asked if the Obamacare website was beta-tested before it was launched, and though Carney knows “what beta tested means,” he could only say that “there was no question that the website has not performed up to expectations.”

It's really ok. Incompetence is fine, if you're a leftist. The media might have a brief moment of discomfort with the arrogant, aggressive incompetence of the Obama administration, but they'll remember that there will be elections in 2014 and communists to be elevated.

It's all just fine, we are simply fundamentally transforming.

These Spite House briefings are so unnecessary!  Does Jay Carney ever answer a question?
The reporters ask a question, he pontificates for a few minutes, shifts his stance around while using 200 words to say nothing, then goes on to the next question.
Disgraceful!   Why bother with this fiasco every day?
