One thing is for sure, he’s a hell of a lot smarter than the Cowboy Poet.

    WASHINGTON — As the showdown over raising the nation’s debt limit and funding the government entered its final week, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) could sense “desperation” seeping into the Republican Party. [...]

    “Ted Cruz is smart,” Reid added. “He has always been able to talk down to people. He is now in the Senate. People are as smart as he is. He can’t talk down to anyone anymore. But he has still not accepted that in his own head. He still thinks he’s smarter than everybody else.

    Sean Rushton, a spokesman for Cruz, responded that the Cruz “remains focused on making Washington listen to the people who are being harmed by Obamacare.”

The average IQ for Democrat senator is 98 while GOP senators average of 103.  ) I suspect Harry Reid is one of the people pulling the number down for the Democrats.

He's an intelligent, educated, articulate super conservative, and they won't even admit people like that exist.

So it automatically has to be that he "thinks" he's smarter than everyone else.

There's no way tiny weasel Reid could work up the courage to say outright that Cruz IS smarter.

Nope and it is also why the media hate to invite him on their Sunday shows, he smiles and makes mincemeat out of their arguments.  Note the lineup for this Sunday - not one there who makes the interviewer have to think about THEIR worldview.

Has anyone else noticed how Democrats cannot ever resist the urge to denigrate, belittle and mock their political opponents?

It's almost as though they were trying to... intentionally.... provoke us. Hmmm. But that can't be right. They're just the "loyal opposition".

It must be our fault.
