Obamacare’s Secret Is Out

Timing is everything. And just as Congress’s focus seems to be drifting from Obamacare’s ravages on the economy, Americans are learning the reason this law’s implementation was postponed until after the presidential election.

That reason is becoming clear as person after person opens the mail. Insurance costs are going up. For many, not just going up—skyrocketing.

Ross, a married father of three small boys in Florida, tells us his insurance will be going up $525 per month. “I feel completely helpless,” he says.

Kevin, who also has three small boys, just found out his wife’s individual health insurance premium will be jumping from $79 per month to $311.82 per month.

“For whom exactly is the Affordable Care Act making care affordable?” asked Kevin, who lives in Alabama.

>>> Read here about how to send us your insurance hikes

But this isn’t all. While people are receiving notices that their premiums are going up or perhaps their health plans are being discontinued, there’s a secret in Obamacare’s exchanges, too.

One of the reasons the Obamacare website has been so slow and glitchy? It requires people to enter personal information before they’re able to see insurance plan options. Health and Human Services does this so that if you’re eligible for a subsidy, you won’t see the true cost of your health plan.

Obamacare is laden with mandates that are driving up the cost of health insurance. And it didn’t stop with the original law. Federal bureaucrats are continuing to write more Obamacare regulations. One estimate is that these paper pushers have added 30 words of regulations for every word in the original law.

No small tweak to Obamacare can fix this. No small tweak can give relief to these hard-working dads who are supporting their families and getting the wind knocked out of them by hundreds of dollars in insurance hikes.

If Congress does anything less than defund Obamacare, it is turning its back on all of these suffering Americans.

"If Congress does anything less than defund Obamacare, it is turning its back on all of these suffering Americans."

That battle is lost. What the Republicans need to do is get back to the "Repeal and Replace” tactic they were using during the 2012 campaign. That tactic didn’t work well during the campaign because Americans still were in the dark on what the “Affordable” Health Care Act was. It sounded like a good thing to anybody but us conservative news junkies who knew better. And how could the low-information voters not think it was a good thing, with night after night on the news they were being told it will not only be affordable but if you like what you have you can keep it.
Now that Obamacare is in place and the people are waking up to how bad it really is,  The Republicans need to take a huge lesson from Ronald Reagan. Remember when he was running for President, Jimmy Carter was leading in the polls nationally until Reagan asked this famous question, “Are you better off than you were 4-years ago?”    The polls not only reversed, but Regan won in a landslide on a scale rarely seen.  The Republican’s need to take the same tactic – with a simple campaign ad questions like this…
Is your Health Care more affordable under Obamacare?     Then showcase some real stories told by real people
Or this,   Obama said “if you like the plan you are on, you could keep it”. Did he tell you the truth?  Then show how people were forced off the plan they had, and from the Doctor they liked.
A nation that turns away from prayer will ultimately find itself in desperate need of it. :Jonathan Cahn

[[ “For whom exactly is the Affordable Care Act making care affordable?” asked Kevin, who lives in Alabama. ]]

It was never about "making health care affordable".
It was about transferring wealth and power.

Why is it that every law that comes out of Congress with a catchy name results in exactly the opposite?

Anytime you see a law with such a name, apply a little DoubleThink, and you'll have the answer....

[[ Remember when he was running for President, Jimmy Carter was leading in the polls nationally until Reagan asked this famous question, “Are you better off than you were 4-years ago?” ]]

The only problem with this is that -- today (as distinguished from Reagan's time) -- around 40-45% will respond "yes" if asked the same question re Obama's reign.

It was no unintended consequence that the number of food stamp recipients has risen to the highest on record. And don't forget those EBT's and Obamaphones, and plenty of Section 8 to go around for "the needy". And what about the tens of millions of illegals, suddenly amnesty'ed?

There's the old lawyer's adage, "don't ask a question in court unless you already know the answer."
Better be careful about putting "Reagan's question" to the population now.
You may be surprised at their reply...

Do you honestly think that the people who had jobs 5 yrs ago or more hours on the job and didn't need food stamps or help from the government would really say they have it better now since their hours are cut or their jobs were cut. Do you honestly think they think they are better off. There is a segment of society that use the government for all their worth but not those that recently have found themselves short money for groceries. What we need to do is work toward making sure all fraud and vote stealing is stopped that is a good goal to work towards that will make a big difference in the results we have gotten the past few elections. When we all get after our representatives both moderate and conservatives like when amnesty was proposed we see good results from our reps. We need to watch every vote coming out of the senate and going to the house because sometimes they do listen to us and we do have an election year coming up. I have asked that question "Are you better off with Obama as president" of people I knew or have met and they all say the same thing they are not better off than 5 yrs ago that their standard of living has gone down. Maybe you guys are all rich and have had no hit on your incomes but the every day person is hurting and they make up more people than even the takers of handouts. We lost the last election by fraud not legitimate voters so I really don't think most of you know how bad it really is out here if you think the majority of people would think they are better off. I talk to strangers in the grocery store all the time and they are shocked at how their income has eroded but they all say they want  conservative candidates or they won't vote.
