0.4 percent of healthcare.gov visitors enrolled in Obamacare in first week

99.6 percent of visitors to healthcare.gov did not enroll in Obamacare during the health care law’s first week and less than 1 percent of the people who attempted to enroll actually completed enrollment on the glitch-ridden online exchanges, according to a new analysis.

9.47 million people visited healthcare.gov during the week ending October 5.

While 5.68 million people visited the individual marketplace, only 3.72 million attempted to register, 1.01 million completed registration, 271,000 successfully logged in, 196,000 began enrollment, and 36,000 completed enrollment, according to an analysis by Millward Brown Digital — formerly Compete, Inc. — a division of the market research company Kantar Group.

The online Obamacare exchanges suffered from a traffic spike beginning October 1 when Healthcare.gov saw a traffic increase that put it into contention with the daily traffic of Target.com.

If you owe Taxes what do you do, file your return right away, or do you wait until April 15 or close too it?   We wait.     That is what is going to happen I predict with Obamacare. Most everyone knows now that it will cost them money, and they  will wait until the last week before the deadline and then flood the websight, breaking it down I hope.    Perhaps they are hoping that the mandate will be delayed or that that the fines that will be imposed will be looked at again by the Supreme Court and they will overrule themselves, seeing it as a fine and not a tax.

[[ 36,000 completed enrollment... ]]

Lessseee here....

I've read that they need something like 7,000,000 new enrollees to make the monstrosity work.

With 36,000 signed up the first week, that leaves about 6,964,000 to go.

If they're able to sign up that many each successive month, that means we have only 193 months left to get up to full enrollment. Wait a minute -- that's about 16 years!
