and above all how the media seizes on these things to beat up on decent people who love this country.  It is an issue I had back when the Tea Party movement started and some people on FR would revel in doing something at a rally that was provocative and then brag about it on FR afterwards.  I just think there is a time to be above it all and on our best and most proper behavior to show the real differences between us and the crazies on the left. The media ignores their outrageousness, they use ours against us...  it is another reason I supported at the 8/28 rally them asking people to leave who were trying to be provocative.

Agree.  However, the media will distort the patriot message no mattter what behavior is exhibited.  This is a truth difficult to accept. But true.  Actions cannot be honed to expected media reaction--it never varies.  IMO.

Now I must vent.  I've been sitting on my derriere for two weeks now, waiting to get back to work.  On Saturday, a glimmer of hope.  This morning I wake up to discover that the Senate democrats are insisting on increased government spending or there's no deal.  I'm sorry, did I wake up in Venezuela?  This is absolutely insane.

What's more insane is that, to communicate with our director (one of three people left standing after we all got sent home), I have to do it through my private email account. Heaven forbid I should do anything other than LOOK at my blackberry.  ARGGGGH!   :chairbang:

The absolute truth is that NOBODY is going to remember who caused the shutdown....this time next year.

The entire country's voters suffer from attention deficit disorder.

And one more thing...whether the Obama administration or the MSM want to recognize it or not...the TEA PARTY has not only awakened, but it has grown exponentially since the 9/12/09 protest demonstration in Washington, DC.
