Kenyan grannies acquire self-defence skills
« on: October 14, 2013, 03:46:18 AM »
Via al Jazeera:

They were tired of being the victims of crime and learned self-defence to protect themselves.

Not an uncommon story, perhaps, but in this case they were a group of elderly women in a shanty town in Kenya.

Al Jazeeera's Catherine Soi reports from Nairobi.

Two minute video report at link.

Something that shouldn't need to be but does.
The fastest way to a man's heart? Inch to the right of the breastbone, between the fourth and fifth rib.

Every time I start to feel boring, I remember there is a monthly magazine devoted to elevators.
