"You know, senator, once we succeed in turning this into a one-party country, you'll have to be a Democrat to sit in the politburo.  Won't you please become a Democrat then?  Please?"

I'd like to hear her ask that question to a few of the other republicans.  John McCain comes to mind...

through the days of civil rights......

Too bad she is probably too danged stupid to understand that part of his sentence... the fact is Eisenhower started the civil rights bill and LBJ killed it in the senate only to resurrect it when he was president and have it passed as HIS legislation.

@SenRandPaul Paul: "I am ok with not raising the debt ceiling." Media: "Paul said he's ok with default." There is your problem.

Romney should have nailed her butt to the floor in the Townhall Debate..  she needed to be taken down a peg or three.

And if you don't convert - liberalism is, after all, just another secular religion - then you'll find yourself in the psychiatric hospital for "political madness".

Beck just observed that in acknowledging the GOP's history, Sen. Paul implied criticism of today's GOP-e.

What about Kennedy? LBJ stated at the time he was following through with JFK's intention re. civil rights.

This cow again. What an insulting question but (not eye) Candy was pwned by Rand Paul in the exchange. He was too polite to ask her if she'd ever consider losing two hundred pounds but I sure hope she never gets to "moderate" another debate.

I actually think JFK believed what he was doing re: civil rights.  I could be wrong, after all we only have two years to judge the man, we have a much longer career to judge LBJ and you cannot deny that as leader in the senate he bent over backwards to kill what Eisenhower wanted to do and the bill he eventually passed was almost identical to the Eisenhower plan.
