This clip undoubtedly has a left wing spin to it, but I'd like to see you guys comment on and pick it apart. I'm not taking a position on this.

I generally support the things Sanders says I support.

Privatize Social Security?  Yes.  Eliminate Medicare?  Not practical, but definitely means test benefits.  Medicare is the single biggest mechanism for wealth transfer from the poor to the rich in this country.  It relieves the oldest (and richest by virtue of the fact that over 75 percent of the nation's wealth is held by people over 60 years of age)  Americans from having to spend their accumulated wealth on the single most expensive thing in their lives.  Anyone who is truly concerned about the shrinking middle class and the rich getting richer should take a look at the economic effects of Medicare on wealth distribution.  And yet, liberals consistently oppose means testing Medicare.  What else?  Eliminate the Departments of Energy and Education?  Definitely.  Eliminate the minimum wage?  God, yes!  The minimum wage has removed the lowest rungs on the ladder and retarded the possibility for upward mobility for millions of people.

So, pretty much, Bernie is right about me.  But he's the one who is "dangerous," not me.  He and his buddies have turned this country into a corporate/socialist cesspool of corruption.

Bernie Sanders is an avowed socialist who does not support the Founder's precept of individual liberty.  He would sacrifice the individual to the collective interest in a heartbeat.  That is the overarching goal, despite his espousal of appealing social policy.  (He disguises himself as an "independent" who caucuses with the democrats.)

Yeah, he is most definitely a socialist. He supports universal healthcare and free education.

I know this is h-a-r-d.  Healthcare and education is not "free".  It is paid for by hard working taxpayers who without complaint feed the system of free stuff on a daily basis.

You've probably heard this famous question posed:

What happens when you run out of other people's money?

I'm not taking any stances in this thread. I just wanted your perspective. I simply posted to agree with you that he is a socialist.

How about taking a hugh and series stance on something?

When you were in the military, what branch and group did you serve with?  Something you should be very proud to share.
