Cards-Buccos series now 2-2. Cards pitcher almost had a perfect game today.

Yeah....and yet, I thought the Pirates were going to pull it out in the bottom of the 9th.

Great game for the purists!

I have to confess....I am SOOOOO glad the Tigers are down 2-1.

Just wish Oakland had a stadium worthy of The Show.

Red Sox are going to take it all.  That team is a machine.

For me I don't want the Tigers because of the owner giving Obama all those fundraisers, yet I don like many of the players on that team. I have been a Tori Hunter fan for years.  I am a Padre fan so I don't like the Dodgers. Oh don't like Tommy Larsorta.  St Louis never had been a fan until I found out my MIL despises them .

Frankly I don't care who represents the American League.  I hate them both.

Would like to see the Dodgers win it all....just to see Yasiel Puig handle THAT spotlight.

Not much use for the AL since the designated hitter rule.  Just my opinion.  Nothing else.

Puig had....let's call it...a memorable game last evening, didn't he?

Going down in flames 9-0 in an elimination game...with Kershaw on the mound....he threw 48 pitches in one inning.

And they brought him back out for more??

I have to laugh at the ESPN guys who practically knighted Kershaw and made Puig king of the world before the playoffs started.
Eh, not so much now.

This should be a good World Series....St. Louis vs Boston.

Still wondering how a very talented player can continue to "suck the big one"....as Prince Fielder once again, does his Alex Rodriguez imitation...put respectable numbers during the regular season, but look like a befuddled rookie in the post season.

Picking Boston to win it all....in 7 games.

No.  Wainright's curve ball isn't fooling the Red Sox.  Napoli hit a curve ball for a three run first, and Big Papi hit a curve ball that, save for Beltran, would have been a grand slam.

Wainright ain't got it tonight.

Multiple infield errors adding to the misery
