How does this end?

I think it will end either this week or next week, but I could be wrong.
To Clear things up...

Mueller has been one of the most respected individuals on the planet over the last 20 years.

Mueller is a Republican

Mueller was appointed by Republicans

Mueller doesn't determine if someone is guilty, The Judge and Jury do!

Get it!!!!

Consider this: the Obamacare mandate does not kick in until January 2014. That means they have three months. Harry Reid is already on record supporting a "clean" budget resolution much shorter than that.

So, you sweeten the pot: offer a three-month continuing resolution, "clean" since the mandates and subsidies don't kick in during that time frame anyway, AND offer to raise the debt ceiling to cover exactly enough to reach... December 31, 2013.

Then let 'em squirm when the REAL shutdown starts.

Um, why not write the individual funding bills as simple up/down votes?  Get more House Dems on the record as voting against funding the VA, for example?

Maybe to force the rats show their true colors????

It was a rhetorical question.  The real question is.  Why was this first batch of bills written needing bi-partisan support when the House only needs a majority to get through committee and the general assembly?

I think it is to put them on record.

How does this end?
It ends with anger over the shutdown, and public support turning on the GOP who announced long ago they would shutdown the government.  It ends with us caving and accomplishing nothing.  But we can all be proud with this failure because we stood tall for something before we bent over.  This futile gesture is so much more fulfilling than Boehner's 40 bills to repeal Obamacare with no action in the Senate because it was a inspired by Freedom and Liberty and crafted by our next President TED CRUZ! :0012:

Does anybody really want to throw out good, educated and accomplished young people who have jobs, some serving in the military? Really!.....

Today, Republicans brought up the resolutions under a suspension of House rules, which required a two-thirds majority vote. While that led to the failed votes, it will let Republicans argue that House Democrats are the ones in the way of funding these specific priorities.

Keep logging those Rat 'no' votes...

One option is bringing them up under a regular order later in the week, which would allow them to easily pass in a simple majority vote.

I think they're just painting the Rats as obstructionists.

I hope...
