The True Definition of Fascism in America Part I

A sad history repeats itself in America

Many people think that the definition of a fascist state is a brutal iron fisted government that suppresses all individualism and personal liberties, but even so these aspects are just characteristics of such a government. The true definition of fascism is a nation state that is ruled under corporate influence, with a central charismatic figure, who maintains strong centralized socioeconomic control over the society being ruled by this type of government. A charismatic figure, sound familiar? Do you think that there is an analogy between this dictator influenced government and the present circumstance in America?

Is there really any difference?

When you think of it, what difference is there between America in its present incarnation under the government sanctioned economic decline is distressingly similar. Orchestrated under the aegis of environmental controls and an ideological rejection of such sources of energy such as coal, fracking of shale, and offshore drilling which provide thousands of jobs, federal law becomes the problem not the solution. Not only do these industries represent jobs, but also secure forms of energy originated from our own soil. Yet, the federal government under the Obama White House has discouraged our own production of oil and gas on federal lands along with the resultant jobs that would accompany that development.

Gutting America’s energy infrastructure

When proven energy industries that are productive have been regulated out of existence such as the elimination of coal fired plants that are the backbone of the US electrical grid, in favor of inefficient and costly experiments in alternative sources, you know the government is interfering. As the Obama White House wasted hundreds of millions on bankrupted failures such as Solyndra and other defaulted alternate energy companies, the EPA imposed its job killing restrictions upon the US energy sector making the national electrical grid vulnerable to blackouts and potential long periods of power failures that could leave certain areas without service for weeks, months, or years. All of these government sanctioned policies of infrastructure decline under the wishes of President Obama.

State Adversity to the private sector

Refusing to issue permits for the construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline, shutting down offshore oil rigs off the Texas Gulf coast under the aegis of air quality issues, while also killing the jobs that would have generated illustrates a federal government that is adverse to the business environment. The state of Texas having its own state environmental board had found Texas industry to be in compliance, but Washington has been at odds with the state of Texas as it challenges the administration’s seeming push to create big government dependency in complete contradiction to the self-reliant tradition of the Lone Star State. When Texas creates 48% of the new jobs for the entire country this only makes the White House and its policies look bad so a war has been waged between the feds and Governor Rick Perry’s defiance to faulty Washington policies.

Nationalized medicine a typical symptom of fascism

The looming government shut-down over nationalized health insurance is eminent. Obamacare would control 1/6 of the US economy and is now projected to exceed intentionally inaccurate estimates by the Democrats by 3 times the originally projections. This only means one thing. Health insurance costs will skyrocket in the present 1.8% growth economy that will only falter as families and individuals pay more for their insurance whether they want to participate in the program or not. It seems that the federal government through imposition of unpopular law is actually destroying the very economy that President Obama tells us is recovering nicely! Isn’t this characteristic of a fascist state when the government and its charismatic ruler force the citizens to submit to extremely unpopular laws that only make life more difficult? Who benefits from the Affordable Care Act anyway? The Insurance corporations who have bound up our federal government with their lobbying, their influence, and their kickbacks to our leaders on Capitol Hill are the ultimate benefactors regardless of the reduction of hours for employees and small businesses no longer carrying mandatory insurance it cannot afford.

A law that clearly spells fascist intent

With the IRS being used to enforce Obamacare, the biggest push to impose the draconian pressure of the state by using government’s most hostile confiscatory agency, will be the most intrusive act yet committed by the feds against the people to date. A 2700 page law has not even begun to have been rolled out for the American public to see and to feel the impact from yet, but we already know it will include rationed care for the elderly, panels that will determine who is worthy of life saving treatment and who is not (death panels), it will include home inspections by federal officials in some cases, and even determining whether elementary school aged children are obese with notices being sent home to the parent. With 90,000 new IRS agents who are armed being used to hunt down suspected tax cheats and confront delinquent tax payers at hospitals, we can be assured that the government will have a hostile presence in the life of the citizen for no other reason than control!

The true intention of Obamacare

The Affordable Care Act is not a law that will ensure that all Americans have health insurance and can get medical treatment as much as it is a draconian method of the government using the guise of a law in order to impose more of its will and influence over its citizenry. This big government bid to further keep records, control our choices, and submit to a law most of us did not vote for is merely an example of a fascist state that is tightening the noose of oppression around our necks.

In part II we will explore more of just why and how America more and more is becoming a fascist society.
