Nairobi terrorism may have been even worse than originally thought
« on: September 27, 2013, 11:45:22 pm »
We can probably all agree that the recent act of terrorism in a mall in Nairobi, Kenya, was a horrible thing.  But it may have been even more horrible than originally thought.

From the UK's Daily Mail:

Quote
Soldiers told of the horrific torture meted out by terrorists in the Nairobi mall massacre yesterday with claims hostages were dismembered, had their eyes gouged out and were left hanging from hooks in the ceiling.

Men were said to have been castrated and had fingers removed with pliers before being blinded and hanged.

Children were found dead in the food court fridges with knives still embedded in their bodies, it was claimed.

Yes, I know:  The Daily Mail is merely a tabloid; and the story related, above, has not been confirmed.

But if it is true--and I have no particular reason to disbelieve it--it may be an indicator of just how horrible this incident actually was.
