DC Obamacare Exchange Delayed, Can't Calculate Tax Subsidies

by Wynton Hall 25 Sep 2013, 5:34 PM PDT

The Washington, D.C. Obamacare exchange announced on Wednesday it will not be ready on October 1 to calculate the taxpayer-funded subsidies people can receive to purchase health insurance. It will also be unable to determine Medicare eligibility.

Officials say determining eligibility will now need to be delayed until November but that people will still be permitted to apply.

Washington's Obamacare exchange says "a consumer will have ample time to make an informed decision about which health plan to enroll in" because the enrollment period is open until March.

In May, Obama strategist Dan Pfeiffer confidently predicted that Obamacare would be implemented well.

"We're going to implement the law well, and we don't worry," said Pfeiffer.

Sen. Max Baucus (D-MT) warned that he sees “a huge train wreck coming down” upon Obamacare’s unveiling.

Last week, the Wall Street Journal reported that an Obamacare software glitch was incorrectly tabulating insurance rates, a development that has insurance company tech and operations engineers "very concerned about the problems they're seeing and the potential of them to stick around."

Obamacare's government exchanges go live in five days.
“The time is now near at hand which must probably determine, whether Americans are to be, Freemen, or Slaves.” G Washington July 2, 1776

The entire country is in chaos over this stupid money grab by Obama and the democrats.
I hope the conservatives can make the public aware of just how dangerous another three years of this leadership will be and vote them out!
