The likely upshot of Russia's aid to Iran
« on: September 13, 2013, 02:55:10 PM »
K.T. McFarland, on FNC today, made a very interesting point, I think:  Russia (which is fervently attempting to become the dominant player in the Middle East, for the first time in over four decades) is now poised to send an avanced anti-missile defense system to Iran; and this is likely to prompt Israel to strike soon, thus taking out Iran's nuclear facilities, prior to Iran's becoming invulnerable to such an attack.

Thoughts?

This is what the U.S. threats toward Syria are all about.  Prompting Iran (Syria's ally) to come to their aid thereby justifying a U.S. strike on Iran.

There's a good chance it will kick off a Zionist/Islamic WW3, but that has been declared a fraud for almost 100 years now...

This is not about America's "threats toward Syria."  Rather, it is about Russia's revanchist ambitions.
