Turkey will join any international coalition in the event of a military invasion to the Syrian Arab Republic. This was stated by Ahmet Davutoglu, Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs. According to Davutoglu, in the absence of a unanimous decision within the framework of a UN Security Council meeting, there will be other options for resolving the conflict.
A U.S. military intervention in the Syrian conflict is becoming more likely. The pretext is the use of chemical weapons in the suburbs of Damascus on August 21st. Washington hurried to place the responsibility for the attack on the government troops.

A situation where an Islamic country would so zealously support the invasion into another Islamic country, especially by the armies of western countries, is unheard of. Such support was not publicly stated even by Saudi Arabia that has been openly helping the militants of the opposition in Syria.
The chairman of the Islamic Committee of Russia Heidar Jemal believes that the position taken by the Turkish authorities is a betrayal of the Islamic world. "Assad is also not a promoter of Islamic ideas, but his anti-Western behavior is rather a formal function due to his role in the region. Erdogan is only now beginning to understand that he was manipulated and played. He has only one chance to save himself and his regime if he joins the strong side. He thought that he would get into Syria on the strong side, but as it turns out he was set up and made a scape goat," Heidar Jemal told Pravda.Ru.
According to him, "now we can see that all of these actions in Taksim Square (the unrest in Turkey in May and June of this year. - Ed.) were inspired by external trainers, agents."
"The West has raised an anti-Erdogan wave in connection with his intervention to Syria, and now he has no choice. He cannot suddenly change the situation, and say that he reconsidered his position and is now pro- Assad, pro-Iran, and against the West," said Heidar Jemal.
