Obama group: Climate Change is happening.

"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim tribute to patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness -- these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens. . . . reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principles."
George Washington

"Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become more corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters."
Benjamin Franklin

Why is it so many people cringe at the mere claim that the climate is changing?  The crux of the issue isn't whether the climate is changing - it changes all the time, all one has to do is look at the geological record to see that - but whether human activity is driving any purported change.

So far the cultists in the Religion of Global Warming have been singularly unsuccessful in proving any sort of a causal connection between any human activity and the purported global warming they so zealously believe in (which is to say as zealously as the islamist extremists believe in jihad).

So that's all anyone has to hammer them on:  prove that there is a causal connection between human activity and any purported global warming.  That approach is much better than going after the claim that climate change is happening because it may very well change in the near future, at which point you've lost the entire battle.
