Your smile for the day.

Bust out those tissues, y'all, because this photo is gonna get ya. Lcpl. Miles Kerr demonstrated the true definition of "never leave a man behind" during a 5K at the Venetian Festival in Charlevoixin, Michigan.

Toward the end of the race, after his fellow Marines had already crossed the finish line, Kerr spotted a young boy struggling on the path. After slowing down and finding out that the child had become separated from the party he'd been accompanied by, Kerr ran alongside the boy until he completed the race.

Way to go, Lcpl. Kerr. We'd choose you as a running partner any day.
