The ending cracked me up, though

Which part?

The fact that his daughter wasn't freaked out seeing him asleep on the chaise lounge....his white shirt soaked in blood?

That the son merely said...."Is he dead?"

That there was a million dollars in cash in that duffel bag?

That his wife laid down beside him?

Was waiting for you and Victor to check in.

I found myself rooting for Tiny....after Sully beat him with the bloodied sneaker.

Had watched some of it again ON DEMAND.   The cast was so good....because they all made you forget they were acting.

Yep. I was glad Ray let Tiny go.

The actor who portrayed the FBI agent, Van Miller, a guy named Frank Whaley, looks to be quite sick or something.
Why?  Well, because I'm a bastard, that's why.

We just got Showtime and I watched my first Ray Donovan last night.  The episode I saw was.....Ray bribed a parole office to keep his dad out of trouble. Ray is going to buy his wife a new home. The producer had sex with the porn star and got kidnapped.

So I ask  is Ray a federal agent?  Who killed Scully?  Who is the guy that told Ray if his dad got in trouble he and his dad would be back in prison. Can't find him on a cast list, so I don't know his name. I think he is FBI?

Ray paid off the parole officer to make his dad's [Mickey Donovan (Jon Voight)] miserable and a complete hell.  He wants to make sure he stays away from the gym where his brothers are, and he wants to keep him away from his kids, especially his impressionable son.

Ray is no federal agent.  He puts out fires for the rich and famous.  Sort of like a sports agent/baby sitter.

The FBI guy that threatened Ray wants to be the head of the FBI and is trying to earn stripes on the back of the Donovan family.

The priest that sexually abused all the boys as they were growing up was shot and killed by Ray Donovan last season...Ray is trying to protect everybody and keep the FBI and Sully's ex girlfriend in the dark.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3564604/

That character who was blackmailing Ray by keeping his daughter out of the private schools....he has a fetish for a porn star and asked Ray to arrange a hookup.   The porn star's husband has a strict red line between business screwing on camera and well....screwing his wife out of lust.  When the camera fell, it was to come to a stop....he kept going.  Just as Ray intended.  LOL!

Sully was a hit man hired by Ray to kill Ray's father.  He was played by James Woods and killed last season.  Sully's girlfriend was killed last season as well.

Yep.  Sully strangled her with her poodle's leash because he just got tired of the yapping (the girlfriend's not the poodle's).

Wow!  The episode titled 'Viagra' really moved tonight...in terms of several characters are featured engaged with their own personal demons.

Really enjoyed it.

I haven't watched in several weeks because my wife is in the hospital.  She gets out today, so we are looking forward to getting caught up ON DEMAND.

Was actually thinking of you when I 'bumped' the thread, Vic.   Know you have enjoyed the series.

So glad your better half is coming home today.   Don't forget to empty the dishwasher, vacuum the floors and change the bedding.   :police:

I enjoyed it as well. Our free Showtime ends this week so I will have to check here for updates unless we decide to keep it.

Hope you kept it, flowers....holy crap...what an episode tonight.

Just when you think the plot is pulling into a cul-de-sac...the tension keeps building and building.

The final scene in tonight's chapter was devastating.   I cannot wait until next week.

...Lord willing.
