Aha! What is really happening in Egypt explained at last.

I never knew the Seventh Day Adventist were a Jewish sect like the Hasidim or Reformed, but there it is in black and white. The rest of the piece is quite revelatory also.

I didn't know that, either and my first husbands family were all 7th Day Adventist... I have friends who are and I remember his wife saying that people accused him once of being Jewish and I didn't "get" what she was telling me... it makes more sense now.

7th day Adventist is a Christian protestant sect that celebrate Saturday as their Sabbath as the Jews do they are not Jews nor a sect of the Jewish faith.

I didn't think they were, I'd think my ex-inlaws would have said something in the almost ten years we were married ~LOL~    .... maybe the Saturday Sabbath is why someone was teasing my local friends about being Jewish.......

I do know they don't eat meat.  Found that out on a Thanksgiving we went to his grandparents for dinner.. I walked in the house and said I didn't smell a turkey cooking and hubby said -- oh, I forgot to tell you, my family doesn't eat meat.  Everything was vegetables and vegie meat and finally I'm thinking well the chocolate meringue pie should be good.. took a big piece (as I was starving at that point - squash casserole doesn't cut it for Thanksgiving dinner) and almost gagged.. they also don't eat real chocolate -- it was a CAROB pie.
