« on: June 15, 2013, 12:35:54 am »
"Intensely"? Perhaps too strong but each of these companies has acknowledged the religious basis of its operations. I will merely list them and further information on each  is provided at the link. Some are well known, others not so much.

Forever 21  Tyson Foods  Chick-fil-A   Mary Kay    In-N-Out Burger    Timberland    Alaska Air  Marriott   JetBlue   Interstate Batteries
Trijicon   Hobby Lobby   ServiceMaster   George Foreman Cooking  H.E.B   Curves   Tom's of Maine

Tip:  When shopping for a good auto mechanic shop, look for one that has Interstate Battery inventory.  The best and most reliable.  Plus they sponsored Joe Gibbs Racing.  Joe Gibbs is man faithful and true.

Tyson Foods, as in "friends of Bill Clinton" Tyson? Hmm. I'll think about it.

I had the same thought when I read the list. In addition Marriott for years resisted efforts by the American Family Association which tried to get it to remove soft core porn ("Playboy" and similar) from their magazine and cable offerings. I lost track of AFA's efforts so don't know if it was ultimately successful, but Marriott was not cooperative at all years ago. Don't know present status.

I have not purchased Tyson Chicken since I learned they were transporting cocaine across the country in their trucks from Arkansas - the Mena connection if you will... during the Clinton governorship they flew coke in from South America to Mena and then Tyson trucked it around the nation with their chickens.

HEB gives to Planned Parenthood, or at least did for years.

I cannot see Jet Blue on that list.  Don't know enough about Alaska Airlines.

Of course, "intensely religious" could mean anything from Christian to Moslem to Scientologist, so without more info the list isn't helpful.  Marriott's management is intensely Mormon (not evangelical Christian like Hobby Lobby or Chick-Fil-A), for example, so you can interpret that however you choose.

...and Mike Huckabee, for that matter, which may factor into their being listed.

And yet Caterpillar ran away from the Boy Scouts.

Perhaps one of these can step in instead?
