Don't you think China already knew this?  They have been hacking us since before that - clear back to Clinton.

I'd be stunned if we weren't hacking China.

I guess my attitude about this is I am sick of our government treating us all like we are children.  In this day and age everyone is spying on everyone (internationally)...... what I do not accept is them spying on our email, facebook, google, yahoo, sprint, verizon, etc., and no I don't want them reading my mail, either - though these days most of it is junk mail.....   it is bad enough we have cameras following us everywhere we go, they have GPS embeded in our new cars, and now in NJ is you get in even a fender bender they collect your cell phone from you....... it really is enough to make a person want to move to a Pacific island.......

My son and his wife live in Hong Kong wonder if the government is spying on them. I suppose so if they spy on us living in the states I imagine they really keep and eye on my son even though he was an officer in the Navy at one time.

Most likely. But confirmation from an inside source corroborates what they know, and depending on the detail, might cause the Chinese to change any codes in use, and to tighten security. And Snowden may run to the Chinese to avoid arrest and prosecution, which could lead to extensive de-briefings and more damage. Bear in mind that one of the main reasons we were able to beat the Japs was the refusal of the Japanese Navy to believe we could crack and read their Naval Codes.  :smokin:

Wish I didn't have such a suspicious mind.

Snowden can, quite easily step into China. He has an obvious and well publicized reason for doing so.

Handy way to get someone on the inside, isn't it?
