The Justice Department is preparing charges against NSA leaker Edward Snowden - and the FBI isn’t sure he acted alone, reports say.
Citing two law enforcement sources, ABC News reported Tuesday that the government is trying to move quickly to bring Snowden back to the U.S.
Officials are in the filing process, according to CBS News.
The charges would strengthen the government’s position if it tried to extradite Snowden back home, according to The New York Times.
The FBI is also not entirely convinced Snowden acted alone, ABC News reported in a separate story, citing a source that investigators were “not 100 percent focused on this one guy.”
Snowden was reportedly in hiding in Hong Kong, though the last information available was that he had checked out of the hotel where he was staying.
