A very touching scene from "Trouble with the Curve"....where Clint Eastwood is a scout for the Atlanta Braves and refuses to get caught up in "sabermetrics".

There's a national phenom that he's supposed to look at....that they're planning on taking in the first round if he's still available.  They pick 2nd.

In the meantime, Eastwood's daughter is an attorney in a firm full of male senior old white guys and after killing herself on a merger, she takes off a couple of days...which become weeks....to spend with her father, who is having more and more bad days and cranky moods.

A very good baseball film.

I saw it at the theater and recently on TV. Good movie.
