It is from the book .. Sled Driver, by Brian Shul

I wrote this part of the book down years ago so that I could share it on line.

I'm guessing that it can be found elsewhere on line?

All of my personal 'war time' stories are much less interesting .. and Much closer to the ground! :patriot:

When my husband was alive we had a boat and each summer spent ten days on Lake Powell... one of our biggest thrills up there would be when an F18 would literally fly right on the deck down the lake weaving in and out of the canyons... our last trip the summer before he died we were camped and George looked up and yelled for me to look out in the direction he was looking and coming at and then directly over us low and fast was the B2.......... can't tell you how awesome it was... didn't hear it until it had passed over us and then he literally hit the throttle flying down the Rincon area of the lake....
