Title: Cucker Tarlson sells out

Cucker Tarlson sells out

As Fox News slides into its new CNN lite format, some conservatives are in denial. But Tucker, they cry. They will boycott the rest of Fox -- except for Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham.

That's like giving up alcohol for Lent except for beer, wine, and bourbon.

Its prime time shows are its biggest moneymakers. Giving up Cavuto or some other minor show means nothing to Fox. The big money is in prime time. That is why they call it prime time.

And Carlson is laughing at his conservative viewers now. Last night, Carlson crapped on Sidney Powell for not going on his show and proving the president's case.

Who does he think he is? Chief Justice Tucker Carlson?

Ryan Saavedra reported, "Carlson said that he repeatedly tried to bring her on the show, offered to give her the entire hour to talk, and that she allegedly became angry and told his show to stop contacting her after they continued to ask for evidence."

How dare she tell him to take a hike.

So Carlson trashed her in his monologue.

Carlson is right.

All we know is that great lawyers never use their...excuse the pun..."Trump Cards" unless they're in front of a judge and/or jury.

Great lawyers make the best of the Opening Statements and then methodically lead you to a decision "...beyond a reasonable doubt".

Secondly, the company involved suddenly lawyered up yesterday and then surprisingly never showed up to respond to questions today as promised.

Why in any world would she appear on television and show everybody her hand and/or strategies?

Recall, she promised she had the goods/evidence to clear Michael Flynn...then proceeded to take on the FBI and DOJ and embarrassed them in court.

Hang in there, Grasshopper.  @Jazzhead

Demanding the evidence so he can try the case on his show?  You are using a definition of the word "right" with which I was previously unfamiliar.  You know better, so I must assume you have your Democrat Partisan hat on, still.

Carlson is right.

You're over here now.

So, whats wrong with Trump exercising his constitutional prerogative and doing a deep dive into the electoral system? Why not just let the process play out? Wouldn't it be great if he was to uncover and correct some infamous scams the rats have been running for decades?

Seriously, whats not to like? Why the rush?

He just doesn't want the candidate he voted for to have his defeat snatched from the laws of a fraudulent victory.  When one grasps that, all his posts in the past 5 years fall into place.

Ya know, Skeets, weekends are a wonderful time to just log off the Internet for a while, get out, get some fresh air and vitamin D.  Watch a sunset (or rise).  Visit some real people, to get back in the habit of not talking to people the way they do as nameless, faceless Cyber trolls.  Hopefully it's realized in advance that people would be more civil if they faced a punch in the mouth for being rude.

Wouldja lookit that?  It's Friday night!

Carlson is right.

@Jazzhead

Can you explain how Montgomery County was able to churn out 70k extra votes for Biden in 2020 than they have gotten for any other Democrat candidate ever?

2008  -  249k Democrat votes
2016  -  251K Democrat votes
2020  -  320K Democrat votes

Care to explain that one?  Where did the extra 70K votes come from, considering that Biden couldn't even get 50 people to show up for one of his rallies?

Here's a fun fact for Montgomery County, PA:

Number of persons eligible to vote:      591K
Number of persons registered to vote:  609K

Carlson is right.

Yes, he is. And I do not appreciate people ganging up on you when you have been largely supportive of the President, as I have.

What they are missing is that there is a political reality that, perhaps sadly, "trumps" objective reality in matters of electoral results.

We know the Democrats are disgustingly corrupt, especially in precincts where Republicans have not held political or elective office for generations.

We know they cheat, and they have cheated.

But this matter is not going to be resolved in a court of law, no matter how much we wish it might be.

The only way to ultimately defeat them is to convince the electorate, not judges, that they have been lied to, deceived, manipulated and defrauded.

Legal cases are won by proof, presented in a court and subject to strict evidentiary standards and procedural rules.

Political causes are won by changing the hearts and minds of citizens, over time.

And like it or not: this is a political, moral, and cultural matter, irrespective of provable illegality, and judges, even on the Supreme Court will not tread there.

Yes: that sucks. But it won't likely change the result, no matter how many phony "votes" were counted.

If you are angry about this (as I am, too) - do not take out your anger on those like @Jazzhead and Tucker Carlson who agree with you - take it out on the elitist Ruling Class and their paid liars in the media.

Make them pay - as they should.

Well judging by the juvenile title of this thread, this fellow must be a raving Trump "addict" (stress on the last syllable). Tucker wanted some meat for his viewers instead of the skim powdered milk (all talk) being rationed out by the Trump team. Hard (for me anyhoo) to hold on to hope when you are hanging by dental floss dangles of Q like conspiracy theories.

The fraud may have some major deep state here and there... but honestly I just believe it is widespread liberals turning a blind eye to other liberals harvesting votes from an uneducated electorate that could care less about doing actual analyst on who to vote for. These uneducated masses just basically turn over their vote without question to those that work for the left.

Our constitution once only allowed free land owning whites males to vote.... they cared about the country, they had a vested interest in seeing it succeed.... now any druggy on the streets can vote (or give their name to a vote that was populated by someone else). Like it or not, once the unwashed masses learned they could vote entitlements to themselves, it was Katy bar the door. Today's voters have so little values and economic sense of what monster they have chosen it makes one cringe to the core.

Not that white land-owning males would not eventually go the same route as others have, we now see everything shifting left. As the values of voters shift to secular, so does the country.

Given a living loving God, yet people have time and time resorted to worshiping idols, and government is no god that cares for you (only itself).

Tens of millions of people suspect that intentionally slipshod voting and vote-counting procedures implemented by Democrats have contributed to a corrupt electoral outcome.  I am among those tens of millions; there is no doubt in my mind that Democrats have cheated, did cheat, and will continue to cheat elections whenever, wherever, and however they can.  That cheating might be systematic and coordinated, or it might be piecemeal just by low-level officials, but I believe it's real.

And I believe this is an important moment to shine a light on that effectively and get it stopped.  The greater public awareness of irregularities in vote counting and of statistically improbable outcomes during this election demands a  thorough investigation and an effective response, up to throwing out a state's entire popular vote and calling for that state's legislature to name electors if necessary.

I don't regret my vote for Trump this time around; a second Trump administration would be far better for the country than a Biden administration or anything else the Democrats have to offer.  Having said that, Trump and his surrogates are completely failing his followers.  The moment calls for a credible path to victory, clearly explained in a believable manner : exactly how many electoral votes can be won through exactly which legal strategy in exactly which states.  No one has provided that.

It starts with Trump himself.  All he has done is his usual Tweet-driven braying ass narcissist lunacy - it's all about him and how he actually won.  The first test of a leader is to provide a meaningful vision in which people can enlist themselves, and Trump has singularly failed to do that.  His vision doesn't include anything beyond his own ego.  The personal devotion of his followers is, quite literally, religious - it's faith in the man himself - but neither that faith nor his own ego will be adequate to the legal and Constitutional issues raised in this election.  Much more is required of Trump as leader than Trump has provided in this scenario.

Trump's surrogates have also failed to provide anything that people might actually believe in as an overall strategy.  I believe the argument in Pennsylvania - that the election failed to treat all votes the same and was thus conducted illegally - is a sound argument that must be pursued, but that is not adequate to keep Biden out of the White House.  What strategies, specifically, will re-claim the electoral votes of Michigan, and Georgia, and Arizona, and Wisconsin before the Safe Harbor date of 8 December?

The only person who has described an overall strategy is Sydney Powell, and she has done nothing more than level fantastic charges while providing no evidence at all to substantiate them.  Her charges might be true and she might have the evidence, but she hasn't described a single word of it *to anyone*.  She has given multiple interviews to sympathetic media figures in recent days alleging corruption on an unprecedented scale but when asked *once, by a sympathetic commentator* to provide evidence, she didn't.  She is certainly smart enough to recognize that if she's going to make allegations to the media, she's going to have to substantiate those allegations *to the media*.  If such substantiation would compromise her arguments in court then she should *shut up in the media* and focus strictly on the courts.  At this rate that "Kraken" is looking like nothing more than a geriatric zoo animal.

That Trump's millions of followers hang on every word of rumor and conspiracy-mongering confirms his own personal failure to provide any credible strategy for people to believe - rumor and conspiracy are all they have.  His followers' Pavlovian dog attacks on those who simply ask for basic critical thought reveal "The Trump Train" as the personality cult it's always been; insistence on every syllable of the latest hagiographic dogma and snarling assaults on anyone with the temerity to ask honest questions is just as stultifying among Trump's sycophants as on the totalitarian left.

I believe the vote counting issues in this election are literally criminal, and that a Biden administration will damage the country seriously.  So I would really like to see Trump pull this off and remain in the White House for the next four years.  But neither he nor his surrogates are providing any reason to believe that's actually going to happen.  Constantly reminding the media that they don't certify the electoral outcome and berating people who expect sound evidence and a credible strategy isn't going to get it done.

I don't like Trump's complaining either. But thats Trump. He's obviously got a huge ego and very thin skin, and is also a unique and talented man.

In spite of appearances I'm willing wait for the case to develop, and I'm hopeful we'll see some real reforms as a result. If we don't the nation will be no worse off, but will surely be alot wiser.

The only person who has described an overall strategy is Sydney Powell, and she has done nothing more than level fantastic charges while providing no evidence at all to substantiate them.

IIRC in the press conference the other day she went to great lengths to explain how the Smartmatic (Dominion) system works and I do not, for one second, believe she made that up.  Someone on the inside HAD to have broken it down for her. That someone is now most likely being very well protected.

I agree. I thought the team's opening statement was fascinating and provided a pretty good idea of where they were taking their case. Its funny how people can listen to the same presentation and come away with completely different impressions.

A point that must be understood and appreciated here. These famed top notch lawyers would not, with this much national attention, put their reputations on the line for the sake of just this one man “reality star,” Donald Trump, a temporary politician—albeit a good and fortuitous, accidental president who changed the political outlook for patriotic Americans.

These lawyers—as firstly American citizens, are fighting for bigger things. They deserve our respect and thanks for their passion and willingness to undertake an arduous and frankly dangerous struggle.  :flag:

Lets talk in 2 weeks if they still haven't made their case.

I have a hard time believing that Powell would burn her hard earned reputation over this. But it is also possible she's been fed crap information from others to burn her in public.

Until then just lots of smoke and mirrors.

Um...no.  Powell "made the case" in the presser a couple days ago, and she said she would go about proving it with evidence once it hits the courts.  Tucker Carlson was just trying to bird-dog her into releasing the evidence and trying the case on his show, and she said "No Soap!"  Tucker got petulant about it because he know it would have been a ginormous scoop for his career, and saw it slipping though his fingers.

And I don't believe she's gullible enough to take crap from people she already knows are her enemies, not just Trump's enemies.  She's dealt with people like this for years and years.

Legal case.

Right now it is all talk. Until there is actual court action actively backing up those claims nothing will change regarding the outcome of this election.

And until it hits the courts, that's all it's going to be (by design).  As @roamer_1 would say, "waggin tongues gotta wag."

Sidney Powell and company are not about to be goaded into tipping their hands, and giving the left an opportunity to dox the witnesses and threaten their lives.

Hope springs eternal. I’ll admit it, this thing has me pretty wound up.

The left on both the local and federal level have been acting less and less accountable lately, especially reacting to the Covid with their highly unpopular lockdowns and mandates, as if they don’t think they have to worry about political consequences at all any more. And I’m wondering if they all have known the fix has been in for a number of election cycles now.

If this resets the system back 20 or 30 years to a 1990 level of corruption it will be a Godsend.

I'd never do that without a vacuum sealed, safe plastic cooking bag.  Otherwise it would be tougher than shoe leather with the flavor washed out of it.  The way I do it, at 144F, is a good way of rendering out the gristle into nice gravy-worthy drippings.

Well, run it through the smoke and you'll love it. Smoked kokanee salmon is glorious... comes out almost ruby colored and a little honey toward the end makes it candy...

And chicken always has a smoke ring around here... Unless it's Southern Fried... Same with venison as a matter of course, except for the butterfly steaks I might make off the tenderloin... The whole rest of the deer goes in the smoke before it hits the freezer or even the grinder.

There ain't a meat anywhere that don't get better in the smoke.

Oh you poor bastard. You can do up kale like collards. Ain't the same, but it is the most bearable way to do kale. That and Maus (mouse)... A dutch dish we do that is kale cut up fine, fried a touch and added to mashed potatoes with garlic salt ad too much butter.

For chicken and such, a barrel house cooker...

It's a hot cooker, but fine for chicken with a hat full of charcoal (or wood embers) in the bottom. Works as a grill too... I think around $300 will buy one. I wouldn't know. It is no real magic, and I always make my own out of a 55 gal drum.

If you want to go at it for reals, pellet smokers are all the rage in the suburbs I hear. my real smoker is an old refrigerator, but it's about burned out now.

Ain't got nothing fancy for cold smoke... I use a Dakota fire hole with a chimney pipe sending the smoke over to a slapped together teepee smoker... That's how all my fish go through.

If she won't abide beef, threaten to go hunting, and follow through. I will take elk over beef any day... Though I don't know if y'all have elk down there anymore... And venison is a staple here. Both are very lean meat - you fry em in butter if you go to fry em... not enough fat in em to cook em with.

If you go look, I will bet you they are as lean as chicken. Or way more lean than beef anyhoo...
And if you grill your beef, most of the fat goes in the fire, so she won't have much to worry about there.

I would HIGHLY recommend taking it up. Till you get plugged in and know what you are doing, you'll likely have to rely on guides... which is expensive. But once you get to know a few good ol boys, you'll find the better way.

And if you are relying on guides anyway... There's way more than the Sierras... Colorado/Utah ain't so far...

Fishin too... Upland bird hunting... Waterfowl hunting... There's a whole thing going on there... Jeeps, dogs, camping, fishing, hunting... A man belongs at a campfire. It'll do more for your health than you know. And if it don't you won't care.

Frankly I’m not so interested in hunting mammals with big brown eyes. I'm down for fishin though. Camped & hiked all the time as a kid, but it was the kind of camping everyone did back in those days - nothing hardcore - state and nat’l parks, but it was enough to understand how good a fire is for your inner caveman. Was watching 15 years ago a perforating job at a rig on Grizzly Island and a couple of bull elks walked by.
A rig hand said they were only hunted by friends of the governor as it was state lands.

So if you want to find one, you need to buddy up to Newsom.

Knowing you from what you write, I kinda doubt you will be hunting.

I was addicted to small streams in the northern Sierras. Being alongside at sunrise with an ultralight rod, reading the water surface and under water terrain looking for a spot where I’d find a likely strike. One salmon egg with a tiny hook buried inside. Even a small trout feels big with an ultralight. Every weekend.

I also value Sam's wisdom.

One thing that comes to my mind though is she does not really have to 'prove' anything to the media right now.  She has a big bully pulpit right now and is using it.

Sidney may simply be threatening an expose to buy some time from certain states certifying results prior to her being able to finally gather together and present her evidence in a court of law.

The law would generally be more generous in considering a fraud allegation of a state's votes that has yet to be certified than to take up one already certified by the proper authorities of that state.

My boy has a little bitty camp trailer he made to go behind his jeep - He used to work in camper manufacturing, so he knows how... Just a table that turns into a bed, and the boot opens up like a hatch, into a pretty cool kitchen... All the comforts, kinda... And it is solar, and connected, either wireless or satellite... Quite the little thing... He and his wife take it out camping all the time, and it is small enough they take it on road trips behind their subaru...

Of course, he has a hilljilly wife. Yours might need a motorhome with bump-outs and a roll-out sidewalk.   But even if she wants to stay home. You go do it. I quit fishing for YEARS when I moved into town... Mortgages and picket fences.. After the divorce, I started thinking about what was really important in life... And fishing turned out to be one of the very high priorities... I will never make that mistake again. Now I am fixin to get me a dedicated freezer just for fish.

That's it... Not fly fishing up in here so much except in the valley floor where the rivers are... but little creeks back up in the sticks with a hobo hand-reel and a helgramite on for bait... catch up a mess of brookies just a little longer than your hand, right into the frying pan... It don't get no better.

Even a small trout feels big with an ultralight. Every weekend.
I can relate, except for the feeling a trout thing. I was the worlds worst fisherman. No matter though, fishing is like surfing - just being out there is reward enough.

I think it might be time for the holdouts on this forum to admit that Trump lost. I've waited for the evidence, that Huge Kraken, that's been promised by Powell and Giuliani. Where is it?
Carlson, a big Trump booster,  got trashed for asking a question i.e. being a journalist. Powell didn't give Maria Bartiromo much of an answer either when she asked Powell essentially the same question on her morning show.
There's only a short time left for most states to certify. After they certify, there's no going back.

No.  Never, none, nothing, noway, nowise. Nada.

There is no way I'm going to approve a stolen election.  Now that they can turn a possible landslide into a loss, there is no way they're going to stop cheating now.  You may as well find a nice foreign country to go live in if you think this is OK.

And you are full of something if you think it all stops when the states certify.  Were you around in 2000?

Carlson is right.

Tell us counselor...why would any lawyer worth their salt willingly and knowingly try their case in the court of public opinion first before trying it in a court of law?

Unless you're purposely trying to lose the case.

Well, so far we've learned our elections are tabulated on machines that advertise their ability to manipulate vote totals, using software which has already been used in other countries for the express purpose of steering elections in a desired direction, we've learned the US vote totals are being tabulated in a foreign country on servers having illicit channels to other, covert servers (also overseas), we have vote dumps of 100% Biden ballots, an apparently coordinated shutting down of 'vote counting' in battleground states only which resulted in similarly incredible reversals, we've got hundreds of affidavits, eyewitness testimonies, circumstantial evidences.

And this is after two weeks of investigation. No one is going to come forward and say 'its true we stole the election'. I'm not sure what more people can expect at this point. I say give it another two weeks, who knows what will turn up?

Everyone up in arms over Carlson being an alleged sellout needs to remember a few things about him.  He's to the left of Bernie Sanders against companies like Amazon.  And he cut his teeth on cable news first as a panelist on CNN's Crossfire and then with his own show "Tucker" on MSNBC.  He's about as conservative as Bill O'Reilly.

I gotta say... When I threw away the Cable, Carlson was the 'token conservative' at MSNBC and pretty much a laughingstock... Pretty weird for me to see ol bowtie boy venerated and an anchor show on FOX.

I remember when Rush was referring to him as "Chatsworth Osborne, Jr."

He got lucky and got that slot when Fox had finally had enough of BOR's antics and womanizing.  Otherwise he'd still be on the couch on the weekends on Fox and Friends.

Speaking for myself, I will never, ever give up.  Even if the raging Commies win this.

Things aren't looking too promising ... not saying to give up, but I do think its time to give the GOP and the majority of those within the party the middle finger and push forward to find someone who will start a viable conservative opposition party and support them and help them to build a party to restore our Republic.

Why support the GOP?  They have FAILED. They failed when they had a full majority in ALL the Houses. Trump did all he could to revive this Republic and to lead us on a more positive path and his own party FAILED to support him and help him.  Why oh why would I ever vote for any of those idiots again?  Besides the ballot box as we know it is no longer going to be an option and certainly the leftist will push to abolish the electoral college.

The MSM is dominated by leftists, globalists -- Gates, Google, Soros, etc. dominate. Technology controls and dominates our lives and our elections.

However, there are millions of us that voted for Trump, his rallies indicated the masses were in sync; their only grave error was not putting forth the efforts to push to ensure a fair election.

While Gates and others created "technology" that technology has also destroyed our Republic.  I don't know how to find a way around avoiding using "their" technology to create a new party.

We are looking at becoming a cashless society that will be "microchipped" and controlled -- our currency, our bank accounts and our homes (even those owned outright) will no longer be ours, but belong to those who control us.

In listening to Beck, Gates came up with an idea of assessing and evaluating our children at a very young age and determining their future/career path and chip them accordingly and streamline them in that direction in school.

I believe COVID is the beginning avenue of such control.  Our county school board just approved $250,000 to test every child in the public school system for COVID -- my fear is that they will be implanting a chip while they do the testing.  Why test every child when they will be going back home and possibly contracting COVID from their parents, aunts, uncles, people at the stores, doctors offices, churches, etc???  It makes absolutely no sense to me unless there is another motive.

I have always hated Microsoft and have always seen Gates as an extremely evil person.

I fear it won't matter if he can prove it.  The elections people in places like PA have broken so may laws in perpetrating this fiasco have mixed all the fraudulent ballots with the legal ones.  Sure, he can prove the fraud, and Judges at the appropriate level may agree, but there is no remedy short of throwing the entire election out.  The legal victory is likw being all dressed up with nowhere to go.

Yep!  Especially if those votes include those that were ordered to be sequestered and not counted!

That'll get him Pennsylvania.

The MSM is never going to air his case, so most of the nation will never find out what happened. Ergo, public pressure will never reach critical mass. Which is the only chance Trump has, IMO, as the courts and legislatures lack the courage to do the just thing.

I don't know how it can be done but somehow Americans need to find out the basic details of this case.

And if the roles were reversed, the MSM would be treating this like a national crisis.  There is no honesty left with these slugs.  10 years ago, I was weary of what they reported as factual.  Today?  I start out that it is automatically a lie, and I work up from there.

One evening just after I returned to the states after my tour in Vietnam, I sat down with my dad to watch the CBS evening news with Walter Cronkite. By the time that newscast was over, I knew that we were being lied to every day and have not trusted a thing they have told me since.

Powell could 'release the Kraken' (I think she's done pretty well already) and the press will. not. cover. it. and it will fizzle. Pressure has to come from the public or I can almost guarantee nothing will be done.

If ANY public agency steps up on their own I will be aghast.

Here is a richly-detailed and well-reasoned mathematical analysis of the votes in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania:

https://www.revolver.news/2020/11/explosive-new-data-from-rigorous-statistical-analysis-points-to-voter-fraud-in-montgomery-county-pa/ (https://www.revolver.news/2020/11/explosive-new-data-from-rigorous-statistical-analysis-points-to-voter-fraud-in-montgomery-county-pa/)

It virtually proves that the statistical voting anomalies there cannot possibly be the result of random counting.  I hope the courts have an opportunity to review this data, and perhaps they might then be moved to act.

I would not count on it.

This is a situation where political reality is likely to trump actual reality, because courts do not exist in a societal vacuum, and as much as they strive to be objective (or ought to), they do in fact consider the political consequences of their rulings.

We shall see.

Proof they cheated is already evident.  The question now is did they cheat enough to win.

Yes,  they likely cheated,  but not in enough numbers so as to flip election results in 3 - 4 states,  which is what Trump would have to do to win.    And as for the charge leveled at Dominion, or Dominion software,   the nature and result of the Georgia hand count has put that concern to rest for me.

It is time for Trump to concede,  cooperate with the transition,  get the task done down in Georgia and, if he wants,  proclaim that like MacArthur he will return.   The American Project is weakened when there is a pattern of one party refusing to accept the results of a free and, yes, fair election.    This fair election has returned Republicans and Republican legislatures to power,  we will have the upper hand in census redistricting,  and the plight of blue states is confirmed by the likelihood that both California and New York will lose seats in the House.

It is time for Trump to act like an American,  and do what Reagan would have done.    Not to demand that two wrongs make a right.

Moreover, there are constructive things, for conservatives,  that he can do in the time he has left,  if he focuses.   He can do, for example, what Mnuchin just did this weak,  in relinquishing authority to spend unspent coronavirus money and federal assistance as Congress intended,  on December 31, and let a new Congress appropriate new aid if it wants.   Now Trump should order that the money - some $300 billion, I believe -  be applied to reduce the deficit.   Let Biden expend his political capital to unwind it.

Nope.  I think if it gets that far Roberts will side with the activists  and rule 5-4 against Trump.

It was his unwillingness to uphold Article II Section 1 one of the Constitution when the lawyers and governors were illegally changing voting regulations and deadlines.

My fear is that Trump is a one off, that a candidate with the necessary skills and toughness (irrespective of their purity of ideological identity) will never willingly enter the ring knowing what hell awaits him/her at the hands of the corrupt democrats and the hostile media jackals.

Serious about this, I don’t think there’s another reformer on the horizon, on the right,  like a Donald Trump.

I trust him more than I trust Kavanaugh.  Everyone got behind Kavanaugh because of the shitty treatment he got from the MSM and the Libs.

But his record...as I pointed out at the time...isn't a Conservative one.  Roberts already set the state for the upcoming showdown when he refused to interfere in "state business" a couple months ago.  The lower courts are citing him in making their decisions IIRC.

They are out there...but the effectiveness of the fraud that went on in this election...and the fact the Libs will more than likely get away with it which will embolden them going forward...will discourage the candidate we need from running.

And we'll be constantly the bridesmaid and never the bride from here on out.

They are citing a case that was upheld by a 4-4 court, after Notorious Leftist croaked.  That means, despite Robert's best efforts, it set no precedent so the SCOTUS doesn't have to stare at any decisis.  They have a clean slate to start with.  Gorsuch and Kav decided correctly in that case.  Notorious Lefty would have made it a 5-4 decision, complete with a Precedent.

Biden WILL!!! be sworn in as president on Jan 20th of next year. The job will be to oppose him and Commie Harris while they're in office. I give Biden a year or two at most before he's removed from office for advanced dementia or simply turning up his toes.
Trump has lost. Time to get behind the efforts to oppose the Dems. The future belongs to the people who show up for it.

But not an optimal option here with this UBB version.  If someone want to block an ass-hole, say like an ass hole like me. By god damn.. there should be a way

Go to account settings and set it to block @Wingnut. It will probably cause a black hole to form and suck up the forum.

There is always that possibility. Proceed with caution.

It will only work if you do it. You have to block yourself to start the chain reaction...

ROFL!!  My favorite lady friend has terminal TDS.  For the past 20 years we've spent Thanksgiving together with her sister and brother-in-law.

You can imagine how I'm NOT looking forward to Thursday.

Already warned all that the first person who brings up politics, I'm stealing a turkey leg and a slice of pumpkin pie and leaving.  No joke.

She never did believe me that I am anti-Tump and wouldn't recognize it anyway, since if I meant it I would have voted for the other guy... *shudder*  *****rollingeyes*****

For me it's my mom. Dad is a Trump voter like me. Liberals feel entitled to bring up politics, whereas conservatives basically have to feel ashamed to do the same.

Little different in our family.  Liberals are treated like heretics across the board even two generations before me.  Has always been that way.  Even my moderate to light right leaning wife had to tread lighlty. We are scary conservative.  happy77

The digital Inkbird is soooooo fast reading.  Couple seconds at most, and it's accurate.  You can even calibrate it!  The weak link in using it is the operator:  Gotta know exactly where to place it.

FNC management has been telling guests that if they appear on Newsmax TeeVee or OANN, they won't be invited on Fox News again.

Today’s media fits perfectly the definition of a fifth column. For this intolerable danger to be resolved, two different forces may play. Either government, or the competitive market. But, before you cheer the market, remember that the market is prisoner to popular culture. In the marketplace of ideas, conservatives and republicans occupy a small booth outside the mega mall of academia, Hollywood and big news media.

That leaves patriots inside government structures to sort out the mess. Good luck. We’ll need it.
