It  is 10 F below normal, here in generally mild SoCal.

Normally when it barely cools off in the winter, people bundle up because they get to wear their winter outfits. Now however they bundle up because it is cold, for us.

But "climate change?" NO. I have a photo of my neighborhood in Dec. 1974, when I bought this house.

There was snow!! Rare indeed. No snow since, but big cold hail a couple of times.

Weren't the "experts" predicting the next ice age about that time?

Correct. The weather reader on Fox News a few minutes ago, mentioned possible snow in the Lost Angeles area.

Plenty of altitude within an hour of downtown LA.

Rained during the last 3 hours, and could yield snow on Mt. Wilson etc. Mid 20s there overnight.
