Celebs shred Alabama anti-abortion bill

Hollywood is speaking out against Alabama’s controversial anti-abortion legislation, with stars including John Legend and Milla Jovovich slamming the bill as “awful†and “draconian.â€
The Alabama Senate passed the bill on Tuesday night that bans nearly all abortions in the state, making it the most restrictive anti-abortion legislation in the country.
The move sends the measure to Gov. Kay Ivey (R), who has not indicated whether she’ll sign it but is generally supportive of anti-abortion measures.
The bill would ban abortions in virtually all instances, including for victims of rape and incest, and would only permit the procedure if necessary to save a mother’s life.
