Harvard Accused Of Promoting Eco-Terrorism For Plans To Screen ‘How To Blow Up A Pipeline’ Film

Harvard Law School is under fire for plans to host a movie screening of ‘How To Blow Up A Pipeline,’ a film that the FBI says promotes eco-terrorism.

The film, directed by Harvard alumni Daniel Goldhaber, grows ideas from Andreas Malm’s book with the same name, and tells the story of a group of young people blowing up a pipeline as an activism tactic. The film’s website includes a “Take Action” page on its website with a map of U.S. oil and gas pipelines.

Harvard appears to going beyond simply screening the film. A website operated by Harvard Law School professor Jon Hanson, who is moderating a Q&A with the film’s director during the event, encourages attendance of all students “interested in environmental activism.” His website, the Systemic Justice Project, describes the film’s plot as “the story of a group of activists who execute a daring plan to (you guessed it) blow up a pipeline.”

The FBI issued a terrorist alert due to fears that the movie would inspire eco-terrorism, Rolling Stone reported in April. Another 23 law enforcement entities followed suit. ...

All value is dependent on scarcity, most cryptos are fiat. That's how Sam Bankman-Fried swindled his investors, he could make as much as he wanted to just like the Federal Reserve.

The real problem with crypto is for those that are limited,  'mining' it as the price gets higher and higher consumes ridiculous amounts of energy, pretty much making it self-defeating.

These guys never get that the BTU value of the fuel, affordability and the ability to have it on demand never matter.

Wood is great on a micro, household scale such as a backwoods homestead, but not nearly has workable for large populations of first world level energy usage.

So unless you get rid of 95% of the existing population, alternatives won't work.  wink777

NYPD Tells City Council to Stay Away From Slain Officer's Funeral
Quote
Earlier today, Karen wrote about Donald Trump's plans to attend the funeral of NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller and mourn with his family.

Officer Diller was shot and killed by Guy Rivera, a career criminal with 21 prior arrests for assault and drug crimes. Rivera was repeatedly released through New York City's revolving door that passes for a legal system.

Attending the funeral is a natural call for Trump to make as he continues to push for enhancements to law enforcement and support for the police. There are some other notable politicians who probably won't be at the funeral however, provided they take the advice of the NYPD. The New York City Sergeants Benevolent Association has issued a warning to the City Council to stay away from the funeral if they know what's good for them.

They are blaming the people responsible for kneecapping the police for Officer Diller's death, along with so many other New Yorkers who have been injured or killed by career criminals who are never held accountable for their crimes. ...
