Siena College Research Institute published a poll today which shows Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is pretty well liked in her home district where voters support most of her far-left policy ideas, though support for her signature resolution, the Green New Deal, isn’t as high.

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has a positive 52-33 percent favorability rating among voters of her district nearly three months into her first term in Congress, and 48 percent of all voters and 61 percent of Democrats would vote to re-elect Ocasio-Cortez in 2020 while 39 percent would prefer someone else, according to a new Siena College poll of New York CD 14 registered voters released today…
When it comes to politics, only 25 percent of voters in Ocasio-Cortez’s district would describe themselves as a Democratic Socialist while 70 percent prefer describing themselves in ‘some other way.’ Still, overwhelming majorities are in favor of Medicare for all, free tuition at public universities across the country, a federal guarantee of a job that pays a living wage, banning assault weapons and taxing incomes above $10 million at rates of 60 percent or more. The Green New Deal garners the support of 41 percent of Ocasio-Cortez’s constituents with 20 opposed and 38 percent indicating that they don’t know enough about it.

This tells me that unless the demographics of her district changes, she is going to be in Congress for a LOOOOONG TIME.
It would be easier to dislodge a Mayor or a Governor in New York compared to a Congressman/woman.

Clearly, voting for a Democrat is more important than voting for prosperity.

This tells me that unless the demographics of her district changes, she is going to be in Congress for a LOOOOONG TIME.
It would be easier to dislodge a Mayor or a Governor in New York compared to a Congressman/woman.
Or until about 2022, when New York loses two more Congressional seats and she, as junior congresswoman, will be the first to have her district carved up.

AOC is popular because she is Puerto Rican. To her constituents she is the greatest thing since J. Lo.

She should be punished...for taking the credit of an accomplishment done by the State Legislature. If she wants to own that, more power to her.

AOC will be around for a long time, and her seat, whether the House or the Senate is one seat I gladly give up, for she will remain a key vote getter for Republicans on a national scale.
And her constituents are dumber than she is, for they cannot see how truly moronic she is. Yes, even a bartender can become an elected official to Congress, and her degree with honors should tell you something about the state of education in the USA. Her university is a joke, and I thought it was a decent school.
No mystery why so many are questioning university level education when they produce idiots like AOC, and most in her generation, who could not find their posterior with a seeing eye dog.
