<snipit>
In July, U.S. Retail Sales Rebounded 1.2%
It follows a roller-coaster few months. Sales tumbled in March and April, before roaring back, surging 18% in May and 8% in June.

Investors will learn what impact those wild swings in demand have had on multiple retailers this week. Tomorrow, Walmart, Home Depot, and Kohl’s release their results for the three months ending July 31. Nest, Lowe’s, Target, TJX, and L Brands report on Wednesday. Then Ross Stores reports on Thursday........
====================================================================================
Though the reversal has slowed, this is still more evidence of the economy roaring back.  I expect this to continue for a long time, unless there is a Biden win in November.

South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa, is open with limited hours.

This is a world famous center, BTW. Just 3 freeway exits from John Wayne airport.

Generally the business want to be open. Restaurants, hairdressers, nail salons open out outside.

More evidence of American business ingenuity in the face of adversity.  Kudos to them.

Unfortunately in my climes the Texas heat isn't conducive to comfortably doing business this time of year. 99 today with 110 heat index.
