Police Investigating Shooting Inside Seattle's 'No Cop,' CHAZ Zone

At least two people were shot and one was killed inside Seattle's Capitol Hill Organized Protest (CHOP) area early Saturday morning, and police say they are investigating despite it being in a "no-cop" zone of the city.
Videos recorded Saturday morning show volunteer medics scrambling to help the purported victims after Seattle Police Department radio dispatchers received multiple reports of three to six gunshots around 2:20 a.m. People involved in the incident were seen fleeing the scene north from 10th Avenue and East Pine street in the city's Capitol Hill autonomous protest zone, also called CHAZ. Seattle Police abandoned the closest East Precinct building on June 8th after days of confrontations with protesters in the wake of George Floyd's death while in the custody of Minneapolis police.

Why should SPD bother? CHAZ/CHOP don't want cops, give them their wish when one of them is murdered.

I imagine NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, Huff ect... are not to eager to cover this story.

Homicide Investigation Inside Protest Area

Homicide detectives are investigating following a fatal shooting that occurred early Saturday morning at 10th Avenue and East Pine Street. One man was declared deceased at the hospital and another male is being treated for life-threatening injuries.
On June 20th, at approximately 2:30 AM, East Precinct officers responded to a report of shots fired in Cal Anderson Park. This is inside the area referred to as the Capitol Hill Organized Protest (CHOP). Officers attempted to locate a shooting victim but were met by a violent crowd that prevented officers safe access to the victims. Officers were later informed that the victims, both males, had been transported to Harborview Medical Center by CHOP medics.
Officers responded to Harborview and were informed that one of the victims, a 19-year-old male, had died from injuries. The other victim, also a male, unknown age, remains in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The suspect or suspect(s) fled and are still at large. There is no description at this time.
Homicide detectives responded and are conducting a thorough investigation, despite the challenges presented by the circumstances. ...

Shooting erupted early Saturday inside Seattle’s no-cop “autonomous zone,†leaving one person dead and another critically injured — and police fuming that they were stopped from responding by a human chain of protestors.
In chaotic scenes captured on video, police with riot shields attempted to enter the so-called Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone shortly after bullets flew at approximately 2:30 a.m., but were stopped at the “border†by protestors linking arms.

One question: Why are they responding and investigating? I am certain that CHOP has already set us their own police and emergency medical response teams. After all isn't that what autonomous means.

Jazz wrote about the latest shooting at the Capitol Hill Occupied Protest, but there is some additional information about the first shooting that took place Saturday morning which deserves a look. The incident started early Saturday morning around 2:15 am. Multiple shots were fired by an unknown individual and two people were hit. Police arrived at CHAZ/CHOP at 2:30 am to look for the victims. Protesters claimed the victims had already been transported to the hospital. But according to the Seattle Times that wasn’t true.

CHAZ/CHOP security person Raz Simone blamed the death on paramedics for failing to enter the zone without police backup. Maybe if this guy hadn’t help set up a cop-free zone in the middle of the city, this wouldn’t have happened. Really, it’s incredible that they set up an autonomous zone and chased the authorities out but the moment someone is shot, it’s the authorities’ fault for not helping quickly enough.

Finally, socialist City Council member Kshama Sawant released a statement about the shooting which said it was a “right-wing attack.â€
Since the police-hating City Council and mayor will demand (or already have) that the police investigate these ludicrous accusations, SPD is investigating ... to the degree they can from outside of CHAZ/CHOP.

This may be the most fascinating story to watch for a long time, the madness of an autonomous country without cops.
Watch the body count grow until someone with sense ends this nonsense, or cops and medics simply refuse to cross the barricades to get there because they are not wanted, and murders skyrocket to where everyone but a few wielding weapons are dead.

The minor who was shot at the Seattle “CHAZ†on Sunday was treated at hospital. He refuses to speak with police. Witnesses of the shooting are also not speaking & are discouraged (intimidated) from doing so.
There is still no suspect info for deadly Saturday CHAZ shooting.

Set up a perimeter. Catch the ones trying to get out. When the ones inside have thinned themselves out, close the loop. Arrange transport for these domestic terrorists to Gitmo for processing and interrogation.

Your plan is good I think mine would send a clear message to every other moron contemplating further tyranny. Let them know they have 24 hours to vacate. Invoke the Insurrection act. Those that do so peacefully will be fined $500-$1000 to go to the business owners whose businesses were damaged. After the 24 hours release CS (Tear gas), Wait 1 hour send in the trucks with the water cannons, follow them with troops armed with PR24's and guns with rubber bullets. Anyone that is not face down on the ground gets the living hell beat out of them until they are face down pon the ground. Any one that tries to stand up gets the living hell beat out of them until they are face down on the ground. Arrest them and throw them in jail. The next day They stand trial in a military court since they are enemy combatants. Each trial should take no more than 1/2 hour since they were in a war zone. Send all of their guilty ases to Gitmo for 7-10 years or until reparations have been paid to anyone that had property damage.
