Scarborough compares Trump to racist Dem George Wallace, while giving Al Sharpton’s anti-Semitism a total pass

MSNBC’s “Morning Joe†co-host Joe Scarborough likened President Donald Trump to the late Alabama Democratic segregationist governor and presidential contender George Wallace on Thursday during a segment with network host Al Sharpton, who has made disparaging comments in the past about Jews.
Scarborough and Sharpton were discussing the administration’s plan to roll back an Obama-era plan to move ‘affordable housing’ into suburbs, which the former president said was aimed at bringing more ‘equality’ to mostly white neighborhoods.
The rule, called Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH), mandated that “any locality that receives block grant funding from the agency to rezone neighborhoods based on income and racial prerequisites,†BizPac Review reported.
The rule gave the federal government authority to dictate state and local zoning laws while forcing subsidized housing into middle- and upper-middle-class suburbs. Critics blasted the rule and accused the former president of attempting to export self-destructive, Democrat-implemented urban housing and welfare policies to suburban neighborhoods.
