RINO claims:
"Right-wing extremists are really reactionaries who want to take America back to 1860.
Left-wing extremists are really reationaries who want to take America back to 1490."

1860 sounds just fine to me.
Thank you very much...

US backtracks on decision to sanction IDF unit

The United States announced it would halt its decision to sanction an Israel Defense Forces unit.

Last week, it emerged that Secretary of State Antony Blinken would announce sanctions against the IDF’s 97th Netzah Yehuda Battalion over alleged crimes committed during its time in the West Bank. On Friday, sources familiar with the matter told Axios that the U.S. was pausing the effort after Israel provided further information about the unit.

The reverse comes after intense flak directed at Blinken from the Israeli government, Congress, and within the administration itself. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), U.S. Ambassador to Israel Jack Lew, and other senior officials within the administration were among the most vocal opponents of the move, sources told the outlet.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged to fight the move with “all my powers,” and Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant painted it as an attack on the entire IDF.

“Gallant directed the defense establishment to act at all levels in order to make clear to the U.S. government the importance of backing up IDF operations, which are carried out according to international law,” the Israeli Ministry of Defense said after the sanctions were announced, according to the news outlet.

From post 5 above:
"The occupation of college campuses across the US is a well organized and funded operation led by Soros-backed groups"

I'm surprised that Mossad hasn't "focused in on" Mr. Soros by now...

Could well be. But if the borrowers paid their own loans...wouldn't the end result be the same?

If college applicants believe student loans are unaffordable, demand for college enrollment will drop and universities will be under demand-side pressure to lower tuitions.

Those poor professors, administrators, trustees, and coaches will have to go on food stamps.

Biden Wishes He Could’ve Met Trump ‘Head to Head’ ‘In the Neighborhood’

Nick Gilbertson 26 Apr 2024

President Joe Biden suggested Friday he would have liked to fight former President Donald Trump when they were children, echoing similar rhetoric he has used, fantasizing about a physical confrontation with his rival.

During an appearance on Sirius XM’s Howard Stern Show on Friday, Stern and Biden were discussing Biden’s stuttering difficulties as a child when he said he would have liked to meet Trump “head to head” “in the neighborhood.”

“But by that time, I was over most of the stuttering, but like, for example, you know, I mean, Trump makes fun of me,” Biden said. “Here’s the kind of guy in the neighborhood you wish you could have gotten in the neighborhood and meet head to head.”

The shock jock and president then pivoted to the “first fistfight” the president had.

Biden had implied he would like to fight Trump multiple times dating back to 2016, when he was still vice president and Hillary Clinton was the Democrat presidential nominee.

Cyber postulates:
"Sounds like we're building a few miles out to sea, so the Pallies can destroy it the moment it touches land.  I don't know if Americans are going to be present when that happens"

Sounds good to me.
I despise the palis, but will cheer if and when they destroy that thing.
Actually, I don't care WHO destroys it. Just blast it out of existence.

I think the Pallies can be counted upon to do this.  I just don't want Americans or Israelis getting blasted in the process.

We re looking at at least 8-10 years before this is solved. It's clear that neither candidate this round is interested in dealing seriously with this issue

So let's say someone gets elected who is serious in 2028. That person doesn't get sworn in until 2029.  This isn't something that gets fixed in one year. It will take awhile even with the right policies

But with these numbers, there is no way Biden and the media will have any hope to convince the electorate that the economy is doing great
