A little more information to make viewing and reading easier.

At the top of the home page - every time you sign in you see the following box which tells you how many (if any messages) you have unread (I tend not to delete one's I have read ~LOL~)  and below that message it give you two options...... one is any "unread" posts on the site and the other is REPLIES to any of your posts..........

Click on any of those options and you see either your messages or the following:

and this is the "replies" to any of your posts section and how it looks

We should also mention that different themes have different layout and functions.  Most of you are using the default theme.  The theme I use is called Core Theme.  Others may like other themes. 

To select your own theme click Profile>cursor over Modify Profile>click Look and Layout>click 'change' next to the current theme.  Now you can select and preview themes.  It's fun, try it.

Oh, and don't forget to click on the group of people icon directly under the words 'users online' on the home page.  It's a surprise.  Where it takes you still fascinates and amazes me.  I hang out there a lot.  :whistle:

Posting videos

Posting Videos are  the easiest. You copy the url and just paste it click preview if you need to and that's it!

Do Not use the embed links in videos, as they won't embed

Our software takes a lot of different video programs, again by just posting the URL.

Seems like a lot of folks are (justifiably) getting irritated at not being taken right back to the thread wherein they had just posted, as well as the red message you get telling you that new replies have been made while you've been trying to post yours.

To turn off those annoyances, do as follows:

first, go to your profile page and drill down as follows:  Profile-->Modify Profile-->Look and Layout

On that page you'll see two tick boxes, one labelled "Return to topics after posting by default" and the other labelled "Don't warn on new replies made while posting" - make sure those two boxes are checked and you should be good to go.
