CNN Proposes You Keep Your ‘Thoughts And Prayers’ To Yourself

(Breitbart) – Many atheists and agnostics have a negative reaction to prayers said for them, CNN reported Monday, so Christians should probably keep them to themselves to avoid offending others.

Citing a recent study, CNN said that “some atheists and agnostics would pay money” to avoid having prayers sent their way after suffering a natural disaster such as a hurricane.

Sending thoughts and prayers in the wake of disasters is “controversial,” said Linda Thunström, an economist at the University of Wyoming who co-authored the study published Monday in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

Do they honestly believe it is mocking? They are even more foolish than I expected.

Sir Thomas More - "The Devil...The proud spirit...cannot endure to be mocked."

Have they never seen a family prayer at a dinner table where a honest prayer for folks was administered... True Prayer is not mocking, it is caring.

"Citing a recent study, CNN said that “some atheists and agnostics would pay money” to avoid having prayers sent their way after suffering a natural disaster such as a hurricane."

CNN is reporting a study and they did not do the study as the title seems to suggest.
I am not surprised that atheists do not want prayers from believers.

I have spent a good portion of my life not really giving a D@MN about what other people think, especially liberals. Why would i start now?
