JUST IN: A United Airlines flight from Brussels to Newark is being held at the gate in Terminal B; passengers are being kept on board due to a sick passenger.
Port Authority confirms to Fox News that authorities are waiting for the CDC.

CDC responds to sick passenger on international flight
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention responded Saturday to a report of a sick passenger on an international flight that landed in Newark, New Jersey.
Erica Dumas, a spokeswoman with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, confirmed to CBS News that the CDC was responding to a report of a passenger vomiting onboard United Airlines Flight 998 from Brussels.....
....The report comes within days of the CDC announcing the first case of the Ebola virus diagnosed in the U.S.
That patient, Thomas Eric Duncan, flew to the United States on United after a layover in Brussels....

I had the same thoughts when I was reading post on that FR link. I good reminder of why I left FR - many over there having a good laugh over this. There are few left on that sight to have an intelligent conversation with.

The News cameraman, the latest American to get Ebola, was taking all the proper precautions, as was everyone on the assignment. Don't shake hands, hug, or come into close contact with the people. When conditions warranted they geared up in all the right suits and went through a bleach wash afterward. And they got their temperatures taken each day. He caught it without like you said being a vampire. Bodily fluids include; blood, sweat, feces, vomit, semen and spit. Basically any kind of fluid that comes from the body. If an Ebola passenger on an airplane sat in the seat that you are now in, and if he sweated on the armrest you are now grasping, .... well, I would not want to be that person.

It is now being reported that officials from the CDC met a United Airlines flight last night in Newark and removed a passenger who had been vomiting on the flight along with his 10-year-old daughter.
The sick man and his child were whisked away in masks and protective gear. The plane had come from Brussels, and the two passengers were thought to have originated from Liberia — the same travel path Ebola Patient Zero Thomas Eric Duncan took when he arrived here September 20th.
Via New York Post [2]:
The father and daughter, whose names were not released, remained in quarantine last night at University Hospital in Newark, the law enforcement source said.
The father had been outfitted from neck to toe in his own hazmat suit, his face still masked, by the time he was wheeled into the hospital’s trauma center.
The CDC and the hospital were releasing no information on the father’s condition as of early Saturday evening.
The remaining passengers aboard the United Airlines flight 998 were held on the Boeing 777-200 twin engine jet for about two hours, then were taken off and questioned for another couple of hours before being allowed through customs, multiple fliers told The Post.
Nice that they held the rest of the passengers on the airplane for TWO HOURS before they allowed them to be free of the small shared space for more questioning…
As I reported yesterday [3], the White House has zero plans to halt any flights out of the Ebola-stricken African nations, even though this has already and continues to put Americans’ lives in danger every single day [4], so stories like these are about to become a lot more common in the coming weeks.
In fact, the CDC Director found it within himself to actually say that banning flights from these countries will somehow end in even more Americans getting Ebola [3] (not that he could explain how that would logically work).
