Title: A snapshot of where migrants go after release into the United States
Post by: rangerrebew on April 15, 2019, 12:22:25 pm

A snapshot of where migrants go after release into the United States

U.S. destinations of 1,545 migrants who passed through an El Paso shelter during February.

Annunciation House, a nonprofit organization that helps shelter and arrange transportation for migrants, recorded the migrants' country of origin and destination.

Central American families are arriving at the U.S. southern border in record numbers, pushing unauthorized crossings to a 12-year high. Unlike past migration waves, when most migrants were Mexican laborers who typically headed for Texas, California and other western states, the latest newcomers are fanning out across the United States to reunite with family members.

The U.S. government has not released information on the whereabouts or U.S. destinations of recent migrants. But The Washington Post has obtained exclusive data on the nationality and U.S. destination of one small sample: 1,545 migrants who passed through a shelter run by the El Paso nonprofit Annunciation House in February, about 2 percent of the total number of migrants who crossed into the country that month.

Annunciation House arranges with U.S. authorities to take those released from custody into local shelters and then help them arrange travel to their destinations in the U.S. interior.

If you open it in a private tab, it doesn't require payment.

My brother and his family have a couple of spare bedrooms that they'd love to share with illegals.   happy77

Wisconsin waits with open arms, wer've been told.

Ji-Tech positions to be filled by stoop laborers, they will "learn to ccode."

There are recruiters out at work in the migrant caravan, lining up their prospects.

Carlos from El Salvador, has back-ground with fruit harvesting, and fills in during the off-season weaving straw hats.

The recruiter is helpping them by leading recitations of the binary multiplication tables, useful in coding.

The recruiter encourages migrants to sign-up online for the Madison Community College, en Espanol.

Maria expressed interest in laundry sciences, hoping to land a position with Marriot in the linens department.

Madison has a shortage of qualified linens. Folding specialists needed.

Temporary positions available for order-kiosk coders at McDonalds.eur plans to use his drug dealing background, in the blooming Madison marijuana dispensary biz.

Pablo plans to build apps, to assist migrants, to sign up for public services and benefits.

Gaspar, a young entrepreneur. His idea, is smartphone apps for both Apple and Android, to help customers find dispensaries.

The migrant assylum folks chose Madison because somebody once saw pictures in a "Visit Madison" travel magazine, of young people wearing Che Guevara T-shirts.

China is using Facial Recognition, to track their muslim migranst.

Could the once tech leading USA dare photograph our asylum seekers, before relasing them to the interior?

Which court will rule that un-Constitutional?

Which Republicans will side with democrats and media, against this?

That only works for sites that offer X number of free views....if they want to charge from the get-go it doesn't matter what cookies are not set.

Well CRAP!  My little town has a circle around it.....figures....  I remember probably 40 years ago one of these rabid Hispanic demos told me that I'd better start learning Spanish, since they were reproducing a whole lot faster than anglos.  He didn't factor in the illegals, which made it happen at a rapid pace.  Sadly....he was correct.
