NFL won't discipline kneelers as anthem protests make preseason return
Trump urges players to 'stand proudly' for national anthem

Professional football is back and so are the take-a-knee protests, but the NFL isn’t planning on disciplining players who refuse to stand during the national anthem—at least for now.
Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch sat on the bench while the anthem played before Friday night’s preseason game, just as he did last year, and Miami Dolphins receivers Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson knelt prior to the Thursday game in Miami.
In a statement, the NFL said it was still engaged in “constructive discussions with the NFL Players Association regarding the anthem and issues of equality and social justice that are of concern to many Americans.â€
In May, the NFL announced a policy change requiring players on the sideline before games to stand for the anthem ceremony or remain off the field, but the league backed down a month later after a grievance was filed by the union arguing that it should have been consulted.

Since the NFL "leadership" continues to allow it's workers to openly disrespect this nation and those that have served and sacrificed for this nation ...

High school football starts in a couple weeks, and college hoops starts in about two months. The Texas Rangers are nonentities in my book.
Lately, there's been enough good press coming out about my Zags to divert my attention from the drama known as the Dallas Cowboys. In the past ten days or so, two Zags (Joel Ayayi and Filip Petrusev) made the all tournament team at the FIBA Under 18 tournament in Europe, while Rui Hachimura was one of 25 invitees to the Nike Elite Basketball Academy.

Overall NFL ratings for this season dropped by 9.7% compared to last season, according to data released by Nielsen on Thursday. This represents and even bigger slide than the 8% dip in ratings from 2015 to 2016.

I fact chected this with the left leaning snopes and besides their bias (they clam this is a "Mixture") They found 5 of the 7 points are TRUE. The remaining 2 they say are a mixture of truth but in reality if you read their explanation you will see they are in fact mostly True.
The Verdict. Snopes suck and so does the NFL
