Local Officials Blame Illegal Alien Cocaine Dealer’s Release On ‘Clerical Error’
April 13, 2019 by Dave Gibson

BATON ROUGE, LA (WBRZ) – Deputies blame a clerical error for the reason an illegal immigrant was allowed to bail out of prison despite being wanted by federal immigration agents.

Friday, East Baton Rouge corrections officers released Bernardo Gomez, 27. But, he was supposed to be held in jail for ICE agents.

Gomez, an illegal alien, was arrested on seven counts of drug distribution. The day before his release, U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement officers asked the prison to put a hold on Gomez.
