Twitter Erupts After Woman Tells AOC We Must ‘Start Eating Babies’ to Save the Planet
(CNSNews.com) – Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) faced awkward moments during a town hall meeting on Thursday evening, when a woman stood up and said it was time to “start eating babies†to save the planet from imminent climate-induced doom.
The incident in Corona, New York sparked some heated posts on Twitter later, with President Trump, Donald Trump Jr., 2020 Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders, and Ocasio-Cortez herself among those weighing in.
“We’re not going to be here for much long [sic] because of the climate crisis,†the woman began, after standing up uninvited and being handed a microphone.

It’s been a while since we have heard from Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., the Bronx bartender with all the answers to the world’s problems, but the latest incident to propel her into the limelight somehow seems fitting.
In what may be one of the greatest trolling jobs ever, or a perfect encapsulation of the mania that defines Democrats today, a woman stood up at an Ocasio-Cortez town hall to frantically warn about the perils of climate change.
Insisting that we only have “a few months left,†the seemingly troubled woman told the congresswoman that we must “start eating babies!â€
As bizarre as her rant was, the reaction from Ocasio-Cortez was just as priceless.

We all love to make fun of fools,but the look on her face shows she is shocked and doesn't know WHAT to say or do about what that woman said. She looks like a deer caught in the headlights of an approaching 18 wheeler.

I love that you support the Green Deal, but it’s not gonna get rid of fossil fuel. It’s not going to solve the problem fast enough. A Swedish professor said we can eat dead people, but it’s not fast enough! So, I think your next campaign slogan needs to be this: We’ve got to start eating babies.

It was a spoof. The woman was an actress. Thanks to chemo brain,I can't remember who it was that put her up to it or why they did it,but you can probably find it if you search.
IMHO,this is the best thing that has happened to her since she was elected. For the first time she looks human.

As much as it pains me to defend her,in this case I think she was in shock and didn't know what to do or say. I can't criticize her over this either,since I would have been in shock if someone suggested to me in public that we need to start eating babies.

No, the @sneakypete I have come to know would take at most two seconds to starting tearing the Troll a new one, we've seen it before. "Shy" or "speechless" are a couple of words I could never use to describe our friend.
