When police arrived at this Swampscott home Saturday night they described finding dozens of underage students drinking beer and hard liquor and even fighting in the street.
Nearly 60 underage drinkers in Massachusetts are reportedly facing charges after rounded up at a booze-fueled house party which was allegedly furnished by a parent.

The 58 teens including Swampscott High School students are described as largely student athletes who with the bust now face suspension and the loss of playing time.

"It was a very large incident, but, unfortunately, certainly not unique," Rick Kraft, School Committee Member, told Fox25 in an email.
Kraft said the committee's chemical health policy involves counseling with the students "and turning this into educational opportunity."
Nearly 60 underage drinkers are facing charges, as well as at least one adult, after a massive party was busted up in Massachusetts. The offense carries up to one year in jail and a $2,000 fine, according to state law.
But because of the penalties to the students, some potentially long term or even permanent, not all of the students' parents are happy.
"A lot of the kids there weren't drinking, they were just socializing but they're getting in trouble for it anyway," parent Jill Levin told Fox25. "The bigger issue is that they need something else to do, somewhere else to congregate I think."
The unidentified homeowner, a father, also faces a charge of procuring alcohol for minors.
Conviction for this offense carries up to one year in jail and a $2,000 fine, according to state law.
