Dems rally behind Omar as Trump escalates attacks

House Democrats rallied behind Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) on Monday as President Trump escalated his attacks suggesting the freshman lawmaker downplayed the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
It’s a change from past controversies involving Omar, one of the first two Muslim women elected to Congress. Fellow Democrats who rebuked her in recent weeks for comments viewed as anti-Semitic are now rushing to her defense.
“There have been occasions when she's made comments that she's apologized for that were inartful or that were taken as anti-Semitic. This was certainly not one of them,†Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) Chairwoman Karen Bass (D-Calif.) said Monday on a call with reporters.

I'm looking forward to the big rallies as illegals get shipped to friendly sanctuary cities. rats will be lined up with paper towels and every kind of aid to spite Trump, as the first buses roll in, and the media will cover it in great detail.

Not necessarily a good thing; they are bat crap crazy to begin with. They will unleash once they get a full majority; and it's not a matter of if it will happen, but when.

This is just a case of not being able to take it after dishing it out. And now, she is playing the victim after saying outrageous things. This could even be fake for all I know though, I have no doubt, saying stuff like she did about 911 would upset a lot of people.
