Houston Chronicle by Jeremy Wallace 4/12/2019
Many of the top Democratic contenders in the race for the White House are heading to Houston on April 24.
The event is on the campus of Texas Southern University, which last month also hosted campaign events featuring Harris and O’Rourke. It’s no accident the group chose Texas Southern University for the event. Texas civil rights legend Barbara Jordan graduated from the school in 1956 before becoming the first woman of color elected to the Texas Senate in 1966. She later served in Congress.
In all, 8 candidates are set to speak to the group: Sanders, Harris, former El Paso congressman O’Rourke, former San Antonio mayor and HUD secretary Castro, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, U.S. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii and Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey.

Why Houston?
What did we do wrong to deserve this?
Houston, we have a problem....
Maybe we could arrange to launch them into space after they arrive?
We could send them all back to their home planet(s).

Just eight? Man I can't hate to hear the cryin and caterwualin from all the others that didn't get included. Whats wrong, doesn't Houston have a venue that can hold four stages? And I thought it was bad in '16 when the Republicans needed a three ring circus for their candidates.

That pic reminds me of my little sis's bloodhound. You sure didn't want to be next to him when he shook his head. His jowls were chock full of slobber.

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the "wokest," of them all?
-
No mayor Pete? No nuke 'em Swalwell? Darn.

No mayor Pete? No nuke 'em Swalwell? Darn.
They're trying to limit it to the sane ones...

The background:
"post modernism," "Identity politics" and "Intersectionality" Oh and the new, infantalized USA.
It means a pyramid of increasing claims for victimhood, due to membership in the various classes of oppression.
Always the oppressor is white males.
The classes, black, Hispanic, people of color, womn, women of color, homosexuals, immigrants, poor, foreigners, disabled (except veterans), etc.
The panels, and eventual primaries, are to select from the menu the best representatives, of this new dumbed down, infantalized societ.
"Who is the Wokest" of them all.
Add the dimension, of our self-selecting silos of media, social media, etc.
Strategically they don't want to risk peaking too soon, lest they become targets.

Are there any sane democommies?

Probably because TX is home to Beto! Lucky you! :rolling:

Using the word sane in the same sentence with Democommie is an oxymoron.
If they do not screw their heads back on, we may very well end up a one party system.
