Many on Twitter, however, said they detected that Ocasio-Cortez seemed to be speaking with a different “accent.”...

Some even compared the self-described Democratic socialist to former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, whose dialect also seemed to shift on the campaign trail when spoke to different audiences.

She went into the trademark sing-song, call-and-response, cadence which is traditionally used by Black preachers.
However, this is not unusual at all. Leftists frequently 'claim' to be colorblind. Not true. I have seen lots of White people, usually hipsters, who change their speaking accent and even their entire behavior when they are talking to a Black person. They are doing this in a condescending attempt to be accepted by the lower classes. Happens all the time.

She talks about the Black struggle to vote, but forgets that it was the Democrat Party that opposed all forms of civil rights for Blacks.

If Democrats, the Party of the KKK, had succeeded, women, Blacks, Jews, Hispanics, etc. would all be banned from voting. She is pointing her finger in the wrong direction.
